For all this talk of "Staying on code", people have a way of giving a huge pass to comedians for their c00nery.

In Will's situation, I would have roughed Chris up off camera. I'm pretty sure they know each other behind the scenes seeing as Will employed his younger brother for a number of years.

Black person to black person, Chris Rock shouldn't have torn into Jada at the Oscars 6 years ago. Being on code should mean not undermining the efforts of a black person for equality in front of a white audience.
