My only complaint about Until Dawn was I thought the first half was way better than the second half. Much more intense before you knew what was going on. Still great overall though

You don't know whats going on until the last few chapters. And the mike parts at the very end are the strongest parts of the game imo.

I mean even up until the part where you found out about the brother. I don't want to spoil. I don't remember how far along that was exactly. My favorite parts were just going through the forest up to the point where the two characters were I the cabin. :manny:

It could of just been I enjoyed the first half. more because it was fresher at the time. I want to play it again sometime. I just remember being way more into the first half

I mean,it's actually fairly standard in horror films that once you pull back the curtain on what's happening it loses some.of its magic.

The not knowing is what gives horror the x factor.

That said I still enjoyed the 2nd half it just didn't have the same :lupe: factor as when your brain is scrambling trying to figure out what's happening.

I preferred the tension of the second half over the mystery of the first personally. The actual story has been done to death and you can guess a lot of it early on. :manny:

Yea that's pretty much what I meant. Maybe not better but scarier and more tense. Not saying the second half was bad by any means lol

Saints_Row_Gat_Out_of_Hell.jpg

30 down 20 to go. I might pass 50 :takedat:

I've never played the saints row series :yeshrug:

At first it just looked like a gta clone and then it just looked too weird though that made it look slightly more appealing.

So this is my first taste. And it's a poor one.:francis:

First, this is a dlc standalone. It's a spin off story. Seems to be in the vein of festival of blood or undead nightmare. This time you're in hell.

But hell is apparently just a regular city reskinned with lava and shuffling zombies and demons. Theirs even cars and shyt :mjlol:

This shyt is everything I hate about open world. It's pretty much the worst parts of open world and nothing else.

Their is no story missions. Just side quests. Lots and lots of repetitive ass side quests. You do various side quests to fill up a meter and then once that meter gets to a point in starts a cut scene furthering the story. After doing that 3 times you fight the boss.

The side quests are boring. Go here kill 5 guys. Go here fight 3 waves of enemies. Go here and fly through orbs. Typical open world fluff.

The boss fight itself is :manny:. Nothing to write home about. You fight Satan and he just has a huge life bar. Boring simple attacks repeated over and over.

This is a game trying to sell you on zany fun and yet it couldn't be more tedious.

Honestly it did get a chuckle out of me here story wise. The musical number came out of nowhere and had me smiling. I like games with a sense of humour if they aren't going to go all out and write a good story with real characters.

Graphically it's ugly as fukk. Looks like an early ps3 game.

Game play wise it's meh. Considering you run like the flash and have wings you'd think it would be funner to play. It's just mediocre.

I can't recommend this at all unless you've got literally nothing else to play and you want to check it out since you got it from ps plus like I did.

Playing Arkham origins on Wii U game is really underrated a certain boss fight

with no hints on hard:damn:
reminds me of the Skulls in MGS5

After the disappointment of hardline I felt like dusting this one off to see if the campaign was any better.

I remember B3 campaign being ass but I actually enjoyed this one though it has plenty of flaws.

It does everything better than hardline. From graphics to audio to level design to gunplay. Everything just feels better.

I was genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed some of the missions. They felt open and alive.

Unfortunately it's hindered by some things. One,the story is nonsense. Two,the characters are nonsense. The choice at the end felt so silly and misplaced.

Further I was surprised to find the game still had quite a few glitches. I know it was a disaster at launch but it's still not perfect. I'd blow up a helicopter and the bodies would float in the air frozen. I'd drive down the street and a civilian would randomly walk and glitch inside the vehicle. Or I'd fall right through the floor.

It feels like they were trying to ape cod campaigns a bit with some set pieces which was fine by me for the most part
As it wasn't over done.

It seems like great fps campaigns are so rare now. Hopefully they have a better one with the next battlefield.

Finished Gears Ultimate. It was realy good. Halfway through I would have given it 9.5 or 10/10. By the end though I give it 8.5 just cause it's realy repetitive and the story was ok but not all that. My favorite thing about it was the atmosphere for sure. Hopefully 4 is similar in that way.

Yo I just wanna say fukk you to boring ass open world games and fukk you the makers of mad max.

I've been trying to finish this turd for 6 months at least.

Putting in an hour here or there.

I swear to christ the devs set out to make the most annoying game possible.

Oh you want to finish up the story missions? Sorry imma need to block that and force you to play a bunch of side quests because your vehicle isn't up to snuff for a fukking race :troll:

Oh you need to do quests in this specific area because reasons? :troll:Sorry breh but you need to hop in your car and drive around to the weather balloons to reveal those missions in the area because reasons :troll: oh the weather balloons now need you to bring fuel?:troll: oh sorry breh your car only takes 1 fuel can at a time :troll: and that fuel can didn't have enough fuel so you only fly up halfway and not Hugh enough to see those quests :troll: better go drive around and collect more fuel cans one at a time :troll:
