This was pretty much a stage play on film. I'm surprised Aronofsky didn't bring any filmmaking flair to the movie.
I thought some scenes were over the top.
It was once scene were the music started to swell up during an emotional scene lol. It almost felt like a parody.
I'm all Brendan Fraser winning the Oscar.
This was an amazing performance. He acted like this was his last time given this type of material, and he put everything in it.

I just saw this and I thought it was a great film. No frills just pure human mistakes, regrets and the pain that comes from those things , and it was kinda refreshing:yeshrug:

Fraser was amazing in this, the daughter overacted and could have done a better job in my opinion. I’ve also saw folks say they didn’t like the ending but i thought it was prefect the way it ended.
