i'm listening to kissland right now too and unlike this none of the songs really seemed tacked on or anything. But I am a dream pop, shoegaze stan so the murkier and darker production just vibes with me more overall. Adaptation still my shyt. plus the lyrics seem a million times better on kissland tbh.

That Ed Sheeran track is an abomination tho. so wack.

get past the first two tracks and everything is pretty quality tho.

I revisted Kissland to compare the albums. The Town ended up growing on me a lot more. Even though I wasn't in love with the sound on that tape either it flowed better and was more cohesive. didn't have the same amount of great songs as other projects but none of the lulls of BBTM

I listened again and it was much better being alone. I didnt like the features tho, but I usually feel that way when he has features. Only Drake & Juicy J have impressed me with him.

The album is growing on me more and more. The only song I can't listen to is in the night but I can see other people diggin it. Am I the only person that likes Losers though? I mean it's no where near one of my favorite tracks on the album but the beat is flames imo and its nice to hear dude make a song that isnt about getting high and being hard on hoes. Also, he should have hired some one to do a remix for one of the singles that have been out for a while and put that on the album too.

Clearly it's not a "Gimmick" outlets offer him money for interviews and he turns them down... Why is is a "gimmick?" Dude really ain't with it.
