Yall keep trying to put the Weeknd on a pedestal, as if he's much more talented than his peers when the truth is he's a notch or two below the likes of Frank and Miquel, just facts. The Weeknd peaked on House of Ballons, it's been a steady climb down hill since then.

Once OVO and weeknd pushed out Zodiac n never paid him to this day they hired Doc and illangelo to rework the original HoB and then mimicked that style to complete trilogy. They did a great job at it too, but I gotta give praise to Zodiac da OG of it all. And I still like his original versions of some of the earlier work.

Do u not know the history of HoB? Zodiac produced da 1st tracks of it. He came up wit da sound n style. Then him and Abel split Doc and Illangelo entered the picture. Reworked some of the orginal tracks, and then went on to do the rest of trilogy basically working from a blueprint that was already drawn out by Zodiac.
