You've dissed KRS-One NUMEROUS times and you know it. And you've clearly dissed K-Rino. You been disrespecting K-Rino constantly for a sustained period of time, but when it comes to saying that to SPC and them in person you don't want to do it. You a blatant coward. How many you made isn't the issue, you still factually did it, like I said...

Basically....

dont recall dissing krs at all. and k-rino is like, only a local legend so he doesnt really count.

@The Ruler 09 why don't you just humbly and quietly take the L and just fukking move on man? We've gone round and round in circles and still you REFUSE to engage in substantive discussion. Instead you talk your little slick shyt without tagging anybody in your posts because you actually fear any sort of rebuttal. Such a hoe move.:mjpls:

Well I'm telling you you have, and if I remember correctly Chuck D, but not 100 percent on that so won't say that for certain yet. K-Rino is a Hip Hop legend in general, if people in all parts of the world can respect him as a legend then you shouldn't disrespect him as a legend, especially if he's local to you even more so. If DJ Premier, Canibus, T-La Rock, Kool Herc, Wise Intelligent and many others can show him respect there's no reason YOU can't.

You also dissed 2 Pac too, and countless other people unnecessarily.

Now you 2 options, to fall back, show some respect and keep it moving or keep dissing artist who have dedicated 30 plus years to Hip Hop and the culture since the 80's with a huge amount of shows, albums, lyrics etc.... Your choice...

Lol, at me taking the L, when it's a clear dramatically gigantic win of unprecedented proportions. Have you not read the thread? Mad people getting put on to K-Rino, it has like nearly 800 replies I think and around 8500 views. And the person people were championing to try and challenge me SirBiatch ran away and hasn't been seen in here since. It's a brutal victory... It was won a LONG time ago, this is just a victory lap now...

I'm gonna say this from a place of love now because I feel like you've been forced into a corner so you're being awfully defensive.

As always you miss the point. I genuinely don't think anybody cares if people are being put onto K-Rino. I am glad that an independent artists is getting exposure. Nobody has a problem with K-Rino. He is obviously a very talented dude and has put a lot of time into this artform we know and love. We have a problem with the obnoxious way you choose to advertise his work. You don't have any greater authority over anybody else on this forum so when you call people's opinions wrong and fail to engage in constructive conversation they're going to have a problem with it. I understand your intentions are sincere and you just want to spread his work but you really need to be a lot more nuanced about it, it's obviously something you should work on. Have you ever heard the phrase you can attract more flies with honey than with vinegar?

Dope...K-rino is a H town legend and anyone talking shyt about him is not hip hop. :salute:Ruler

The audacity of some of you people disrespecting a legend like that

Exactly...it takes a certain breed of fake and cowardice to diss a legendary MC like Rino. Im convinced that the realness and sophistication of certain MCs just intimidates weak minds like certain people in this thread. Theyd rather listen to Lil Wayne rap about downing sizzurp than hear some real shyt like this

K's delivery, flow and emphasis on multis :whew:

Thanks bro, spot on...I respect what you been doing in this thread, posting his songs and albums. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. I dont expect many of you to actually listen because it takes a stand up individual to listen to and respect Rino's artistry but most of your posts make it clear that your lacking in that

No doubt, the ignorant ones are just not gonna listen, but the reason I started posting videos after they were trolling was so that anybody NOT a hateful disgusting troll and had some intelligence or objectivity could maybe check out the songs, and thankfully there have been numerous who have done just exactly that so that makes it worthwhile, even 1 person put on and at least that's better than nothing, but it's been a lot more than that, and it grows all the time, so I'm good with that. There has to be someone standing up for the real, and the real artists, and keeping it real regardless of what any bullshytter says. It don't effect me, I know what I represent and what side I'm on, I'm on Hip Hop's side, they have some devilish negative agent like agendas. I treat K-Rino with the respect he deserves, just like I would with any Hip Hop pioneer and legend. And even just people in general, if the shyt is without merit there's no need to diss someone. Many people have just exposed themselves as fraudulent in this thread, and some have proved they have some integrity.

I fukked with Alien Baby heavy personally, I LOVED the story in the title track too. shyt was so well done, with such charisma and masterful execution, really "the underrated genius of" could be a title for countless K-Rino songs, I don't think some fully comprehend he is an actual genius, there are many dope artists but few actual genius', K-Rino is a rare breed.

I like the way he's elaborated consistently on the Black Book concept too. It's dope, he actually has some of those rhyme books too lol..

K-Rino's body of work is truly phenomenal, also he is SO great and SO profoundly amazing as an artist sometimes some of his shyt has to sink in to you. I don't know if you will feel me on this, but an example is, when TheRAPeutic came out, I LOVED that album (still do) it was amazing, I made a thread about it on here too, think I called it the album of the year, on the SAME DAY (lol) Plantation Rebellion came out, and my initial thoughts bar a few songs was TheRAPeutic was far superior though Plantation Rebellion was good, but I now love Plantation Rebellion and appreciate it so much more. I think sometimes it's an overload of greatness so sometimes the listeners can become spoilt, this isn't even a reflection on them, it's more like there's so much depth, skill, artistry and greatness it's like an overload, some of it needs to marinate. There are many K-Rino albums that have grown on me a lot, and some I instantly loved. I have to say Danger Zone grew on me massively, I realize I'm late to the party as I didn't hear it in 95, MUCH later, so I had to go and do my research and really take in every album. I still need to play certain shyt more, like to formulate ratings and rankings and shyt like that.

This brother K-Rino is amazing, he is an underappreciated genius, and I could never disagree with anyone calling him THE GOAT, I could completely understand that and it's a great choice, I don't give a fukk what anybody says. He may even become my GOAT 1 day, we shall see. But point is he is a very valid choice. He is the lyrical GOAT to me though now.

I can't properly rank the albums at the moment or give a top 5, but these come to my mind....

Deeper Elevation
Deprogrammed
The Day Of The Storm (I loved this, it was an instant classic to me)
TheRAPeutic?
The Blood Doctrine?

See what I mean, I can't do this shyt, cause I've left Danger Zone out, and a bunch of others. I think cause the work is on such HIGH levels, on so many of the albums, rating accurately becomes a near impossible task. I need more time to evaluate, but by then he will release more and confuse my rankings even more lol....

Some comments about this song after @Hybrinetics posted it....

Wow... I heard this album when it first came out in 2009, it made me become an even bigger K-Rino fan, but I've been deeply sleeping on this track, that was incredible :ohhh:
I hope somebody/or more than that will rep you for me. I can't believe I slept on that shyt so much, I guess it goes to my points to @Iron Chin Wilder sometimes it's an overload of greatness and you need to let it digest, I heard that song in 2009, that's 6 years ago and I've got so much from it from just listening now, so many new things, I guess I gravitated initially to other tracks, and I gave them A LOT of play and maybe I just vibed to that track but didn't fully take it in. That shyt is DEEP, relatable and POWERFUL. That was like an experience, to hear that shyt just now.
Thanks :salute:
I just listened to this like another 10 times..

I was interested in what some other people's comments would be o the song, here's some...

Oh my god, brilliant, absolutely brilliant. The lyrics really got my mind gears grinding, the last few lines were just too satisfying. I'm mentally applauding for such intellect of lyrical story writing.

Honestly, 10/10. Literally everything was perfect from the message to the complex schemes to the multi syllable rhymes. As a rapper myself this was really impressive work, and love how Rino ended it with a message that includes everyone. Keep making hiphop man, we need more real artists representing the people!

Man I relate to this song so much, without too much detail I used to go through life place to place with a chip on shoulder just fukking up myself and other people. Not a second thought passed by til' one day I reflected and realised it had been 12 years on the road like that, just leaving destruction in my wake bla bla and never a truer word said "only you have the power to release you" needless to say a better man than that one types this today.

No doubt, have a huge amount of respect for women, I don't see why anybody wouldn't, it's illogical and backwards to me. Genders can be different but still equal.

Yeah, the hateful shyt I see against women hear disgusts me, even certain dudes that have posted in this thread, condoning threats of rape against women and shyt or defending people that have disgracefully dissed black women and black people in general :mindblown:.

Stay with it is my advice, the great Hip Hop is there, you just got to know about it, let's speak further and I can try give you some recommendations if you are interested. I see where you are coming from because if I wasn't aware of all the Hip Hop I am I would probably feel disenfranchised with a lot of the mainstream, but as I have such a broad range I'm still very happy, satisfied and still get excited about the music. From my perspective it's like there's been so much great Hip Hop, historically and presently, I'm not aware of ALL of it so there's always new things for me to discover. I have an unbelievably massive music collection because I just love Hip Hop so much I just wanna hear everything dope I can, the best Hip Hop can be really inspiring and therapeutic too. It can be very positive to one's life, just got to be able to filter what you take in and don't.

I feel you, some aren't necessarily the best example, especially in terms of conformity. Some MC's that come to mind to me are Queen Latifah, Lauryn Hill, Bahamadia, Roxanne Shante, Storm, Shay D but there are countless. I'll have to show you some more sometime, who represent well. I don't have an issue with women showing certain sides to them because that's real too but what I DO take issue with is that they aren't being allowed to show other sides, or having pressure to be a certain way if that's not them. I don't need to hear a woman express her sexuality for me to listen to them, as women are obviously more than just sexual, I can be interested in a female MC's skill, artistry, intellect, content, creativity, styles etc just like with men, likewise I don't mind sexual material too, but the problem to me is the systematic condition of the industry that tries to exploit women to try to make them conform due to perverted pathetic desperate men. Everyone should be allowed to be themselves, if you ARE a predominantly sexual female artist, ok... but I don't like how the industry tries to FORCE women to conform to this if they want to be successful. I have some goals that I will try to assist with in this area. Artists I've helped develop who are female I always let them be them. Had an interesting conversation with The Conscious Daughters back in the day too.

I get where you are coming from, I think there needs to be a balance, if women are multi dimensional which they are and individual then how can you talk about the "hoes" if you don't talk about the other side? You said a lot of real things, it's dope to hear.

That's exactly what I like from a female MC, just be yourself, don't have to be manly or conform, just be you whatever that may be.

Rapsody, name sounds familiar, will have to check out her work, you putting me on too lol.

We are on the same wavelength with the parts I bolded. :whew: It's so refreshing to have a conversation on hip hop that actually analyzes the effects socially. Not just who sold what and where their album ranked on billboard :stopitslime:.

And the part about women being driven to be sexual or else they can't succeed is paralleled by the men being forced to rap about hoes, clothes and cars or killing other people. It's crazy that women are placed in this 2x2 sized box but most of the men of hip hop have yet to notice that their box is only 3x3. They are both being used, abused and tossed back out. And thats not even touching on how record label contracts are set up:wow:.

And in terms of women being seen as only hoes, one reason I always respected and loved Pimp C, is because even though his content seemed vulgar on the surface, he always voiced an opinion of respect for women. It was skewed at times but I could respect it. He always cautioned treating these hoes like ladies and these ladies like hoes ( Goes for both genders in my opinion). I'm not the most PC person and I understood where he was coming from. A woman can choose to be sexual and that didn't make her a hoe. It was her mentality and approach to life. Was she using people? Was she respecting herself and being upfront about who she was no matter what? It was a statement about integrity and character. I think most people who listened to him had that completely go over their heads. But I digress.

And I'm always open to new artists. My "underground" (I don't really like that term cause some underground music is just as bad as mainstream), taste ranges from Brother Ali and Little Brother to Saigon to Killer Mike to Immortal Technique to L.E for the Uncool and back.

My fav hip hop albums of all time are Illmatic, Ultramagnetics MCs self titled, Midnight Marauders, Minstrel Show, Food and Liquor, Pac Greatest hits/Me Against The World, Miseducation, Stalley Lincoln Way Nights, 400 Degrees, Ridin Dirty, Aquemini, Below The Heavens, 1&2nd Clipse albums, 1st 3 DMX, Anything DJ Quik, The Diary, KRS One Criminal minded, Common Be, Shadows Of The Sun.

I also tend to like rappers who lean towards Islam/Muslim subconsciously.

If that helps bring on the suggestions :blessed::dj2:

And I enjoy talking to you. You are a good dude.

And low key that comment you made about genders being SEPARATE but still equal is so underrated and under valued in our society. I know as a black women the disadvantages that brings and why some feminism was heralded, but dammit if I don't think there are things men are better at BECAUSE they were made to be better at that. To compliment me. Yea I can chop wood but I don't want to if my husband has 2-3x my strength :what:. And there are things I'm better at than him. Naturally. I just can't disrespect the men I see because I love and respect my brothers and father too much to want their rights to be taken just so I can FEEL equal. We aren't equal and that's ok. It's about balance.

If you do get a chance to check this could be a good idea, explains his artistic and even moral evolution. Also why he dissed Eminem for his racist tapes, he's a stand up brother.

I just finished it and I'm gonna run it back. He seems real positive and solid. I think I'm becoming a fan lol
