Just watched the 1st episode. Although it was entertaining, the storytelling took a HUGE step backwards. Most of season 1 was dedicated to them learning to be a family and trusting each other. Now we got to see them learn that lesson all over again. Horrible decision by the writers.

On episode 4. Why did they have to go back to this time period? I’ve been mad every episode.



But so far, so good.


Are they trying to add a lesbian thing with Ellen Page’s character, because it looks like it’s heading that way.

This scene with Allison, her husband, and the police really just pissed me off. Clearly this wasn't written by somebody black or had any black folks with any sense in the writers room. Ain't no black woman just letting her husband get taken away by the police, especially during that time period, when you have the power to stop them without any repercussions. Then him just walking away from her in the midst of all the chaos at the sit in. Regardless of how crazy all that shyt was that involved her throughout the day, dude ain't just gonna leave his wife in the middle of that shyt. And her reasoning was weak as shyt. Me and my wife both were watching that episode with the face. fukking terrible writing there.
