Seems like Sony is keeping thangs Mandatory as usual 
But at the same time, there is truth in what they saying and it ties directly into what I been preaching all these years.
See, the cloud is the future. Most here didn't believe in it and couldn't see what was right around the corner but for those still in the dark on whats next?
We won't need consoles anymore, just like we don't need CD's or DVD's anymore. Exact same future.
So when it comes to ACCESS.. sony isn't in the cloud field. They did a weak ass attempt at it and then never developed it. So they are already out of the market moving forward
All they can do is create a hardware that features ACCESS to sony games and make that exclusive.
But in the PC market, there's way more potential for customers so.... Now while they try to figure that out, Microsoft is at the top of whats to come in that market. All Microsoft needs is for everyone else to see why they should get a Netflix subscription aka Gamepass. Call of Duty goes a looooooong way into establishing what is already the best deal in gaming. These morons who are lying to themselves about how significant Gamepass is will flock to it as well. COD makes that happen FASTER (Its going to happen regardless) and sony will essentially be on the outside looking in. Narrow minded ppl will see COD as the only or main factor but the truth is the cloud is the future and Gamepass is a fancy usage idea of the cloud.
Other things the cloud will do is make it so games perform better. And all games will eventually be brought under one banner aka no such thing as console/pc version. It'll just be a PC version. Then just like that the xbox is officially every console since its a PC. The old bait n switch
