Microsoft never said they'd stop after the activision deal. In fact they said they plan on spending $150 billion on acquisitions. I'd have no problem with this deal if they weren't planning further acquisitions once the deal goes through.
and that’s the only way there will ever be any real competition in this space. No other company has shown any real interest in entering and completing and Sony as they are outside their own mistakes can’t really face any serious competition.

People talk this make good games shyt. Nintendo made good games. Decided competition with Sony was a lost cause and went after a different market.

Any non-biased person looking at console gaming would come to the conclusion it’s not really a competitive market. This deal arguably makes it more competitive.

That settles it, but it was pretty obvious because why pull COD and allow a new entrant to eat away from it's dominance. However I can see them not putting stuff like Crash, future Diablo games, and other ABK games. However they're def not going to pull games that can generate post sales revenue

Xbox NEEDS Sony (as anyone with a brain could figure out)

The devil inside me wishes Sony would tell MS/Activision to fukk off and let that shyt die a slow death like everything MS touches. But that's just me doe :demonic:

I really don't consider that to be a concession in hindsight because that appears to have always been Microsoft's goal anyways. Let's agree to something we were already cool with. What Sony doesn’t want is COD $70 on Playstation and free on Gamepass because it will look bad with the optics but we are past that point. It's going to be what it's going to be.

I honestly don’t care to write letters and campaign for sony to regulators though, I couldn’t care less what they do outside of making games. I’m also just here for the jokes, this guy thinks he’s doing some altruistic thing fighting for microsoft against the uk/cma

TYRONE GA!
the concessions to keep the franchise on Playstation is what will get it passed.

Problem was Phil was dancing around it because they obviously wanted it to be exclusive eventually.

they aren't going to ditch the deal over this so that concession will be made.

the end.
