Brazil already laid it out. The regulators job was to protect competition for Brazilian consumers not to protect the interest of a particular competitor.

Regulators doing their jobs would look at this and go this move takes the company arguably in the weakest position in this space between the big 3 and makes them more competitive. It's a net plus for consumers if it increases competition. Approved.

Sure if we ignore the fact that they’re owned by microsoft

Xbox™ isn’t spending 70 billion dollars right now, Microsoft™ is, and regardless of what you say it deserves proper scrutiny. They are doing their jobs

Such a bullshyt view of how regulators should respond.

Regulators from countries that aren't lobbied to hell in favor of big corporations would look at this deal for what it was. A corporations with far more resources than their competitors is leveraging those resources to influence a market they are the least competitive in.

Allowing microsoft to just buy up the industry would be bad for the consumer

Microsoft never said they'd stop after the activision deal. In fact they said they plan on spending $150 billion on acquisitions. I'd have no problem with this deal if they weren't planning further acquisitions once the deal goes through.
Dude has literally nothing to do with the CMA.
