The fact that MS is cutting these same type of deals makes your post complete fanboy nonsense. I'll repeat what I said in the other thread in point form so its easy for yall to understand.
We just saw MS do marketing deals for big AAA third party games this generation like Yakuza Like A Dragon, Battlefield 2042, Cyberpunk, etc.
They're constantly securing timed exclusives for Game Pass like The Medium, The Ascent, Tunic, 12 Minutes, etc. Last gen they secured games like Tomb Raider.
They announced several permanent or indefinite term third party exclusives like Stalker 2, Contraband, Scorn, Routine, and recently: the new Kojima game. Last gen they got Remedy, Insomniac, and Crytek to make them Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive and Ryse.
They have a deal with EA to put EA Play on Game Pass, which is conveniently not available for PS+ unless you subscribe separately. Persona 5 left the PS+ Collection (which no other game previously has) this year, while it was conveniently announced to be coming to Xbox later this year with the rest of the Personas, and some with exclusive current gen versions.
There is clearly nothing preventing MS from continuing to make these deals, because there is clearly evidence of them continuing to make these deals.
What this comes down to is you guys being upset that Sony keeps securing big games like FF16 as timed exclusive, while MS is worried about making bullshyt like Phantasy Star Online 2 exclusive to XSX for 2 years.
It’s been two years?
