not that its the reason kawhi got injured and was a shell of himself when he returned my no.1 priority beyond bringing pg and harden back would be finding someone to start at the 4 to do more of the dirty work. that may not be the way they decide to go but id rather have kawhi at the 3 for the rigors of the regular season and to start games while having that option of going small at times. i dont know if you die hards feel the same but id be willing to part with anybody outside of the first 4 names in the starting lineup to make that happen.

ideally though you part ways with somebody you already wanted to get rid of or get lucky with someone already on the roster or in the draft/free agency.

Another injury prone star that plays 50 games a season and misses the playoffs. :hhh:

Evidently that's what Clipper fans like so :francis:
If the choice is get nothing or swing a sign and trade for Jimmy and maybe get a piece or picks then I'd go with option two. At least Jimmy has heart. 50 games of Jimmy > PG.

Besides Kawhi (value too low) and Zu every one on this team should be available at this point.

He the six highest paid player in the league. To do this much crying about lack of roleplayers and other shyt is pathetic.
He's right about that tho. Role players were old and washed. But he didn't need to say this and should've kept quiet. If he gets the max from the Clipps, which I believe he will, the amount of shyt talking he's going to receive from the fanbase after a bad game is going to be :francis:

What's up with Kawhi? That "knee inflammation" might have him not ready to go for training camp :unimpressed:

Giving him the max, a no trade clause, four years, or some combination is a bad idea. He stunk it up in the playoffs. PG can do anything on a basketball court just about, supremely gifted, but wants to cry about the situation not being perfect every off season. He wants Kobe respect but shows up like Kerry Kittles when it matters the most. Absolutely sick of him. Remember all that stupid shyt about him being back on his bully shyt? What part of needing Robert fukking Covington is being back on your bully shyt? Kawhi was the one stuck playing PF not PG.

If Kawhi is hurt then he's hurt. Not anything we can do about that. But Kawhi has enough sense to shut the fukk up. There's never any doubt that when Kawhi plays he's going to give what he has. Kawhi took three years and less than the max.

When PG is out there he's floating for 9/10 games. Then has one game where you believe he's a top ten player in the league.

Kawhi has missed four post seasons in a row tho dog. I'm not going to big up him in all of this. He's the reason we're in this mess anyway. The better move for PG is Philly anyway. Play the 3rd option behind Maxey & Embiid, get the max, and play in the easier Eastern Conference. He's not a number 1 -maybe not even a #2 anymore-, Kawhi is out too much, and he has to take all the heat 24/7. That one WCF appearance was nice, but these dudes could never recuperate from the bubble disaster.

If 213 & Harden comes back then surround them with the kids. I can't stomach the aging core and equally aged semi washed role players. They gotta change their whole shyt around and get with the times.

I'm not asking you to big up Kawhi. But your default response when I'm criticizing PG for saying stupid shyt is to bring up Kawhi. Kawhi is regularly criticized for missing games. PG doesn't get a quarter of the flack that Kawhi does. Kawhi being hurt is out of control.

PG saying all the stupid shyt he does and the criticism as a result is 100% in his control.

The clippers don't have the resources/talent to try to build for future and for the present. They gotta choose one or the other imo. :manny:

I brought up Kawhi at the end of my post on some separate sh*t, just simply asking if you think he'll be ready by training camp as he could be out for the Olympics. If PG bounces and Kawhi isn't ready to go, we open Intuit Dome minus any star players. And outside of a SAS comment, Kawhi doesn't get hardly any flack at all imo. And yeah PG needs to stfu, no argument there. He's a Fresno State guy so generally I tend to stick up for him. Kawhi is San Diego State so I know you got his back no matter what. I was at games 2 and 5 against the Mavs. PG didn't have a great series and game 5 was his true stinker imo. I know everybody is tired of him. he needs to go to Philly. I'm just tired of the 213 era period and ready to move on. Just think we that "that guy" in SGA, all of our picks, and insane amount of cap space available. We were so ahead of the curve.. light years for reals.

We have first round picks in '25, '27, and '29 but their pick swaps with OKC & Philly. No cap space, no "next guy up" in case someone leaves, new CBA which handcuffs rich owners like Ballmer. He can't even buy 2nd round picks anymore. No direction. No player development, etc. The situation is beyond f*cked! That's why PG has all this leverage and the team might cave in to giving him the max because we can't open the new arena with a rebuild.

My bad I misunderstood then. I haven't heard anything about Kawhi’s injury. I didn't see a brace or anything on him at the Tank fight. But its impossible to ever tell with Kawhi.

Yeah, I wonder if SGA would have turned out to be who he has in OKC under doc.

I think SAS platform is so huge that it just counts as more. He was telling Kawhi to retire. I definitely think thr fanbase gives pg more shyt but that's cause he talks more.

I'm like you where I'm ready for whatever next. They took some risks they had to take (the only move that I think was really unforgivable was the Wall over Hartenstein. Which was a direct result of PG and Kawhi crying about not having a point guard).
