Neither has Kareem or Hakeem or Bird :comeon:

by all tents and purposes Kareem was the best player on the 80 laker title team. He was the reason they were up 3-2 and looking to close out. Magic had thr great game 6 but kareem carried them in the first 5 games and was the best player in the league

Kobe Bryant is the most underrated and the most overrated player of all time :heh:

Yup.

He was either carried by Shaq, Pau etc to rings and only scored because he hogged the ball

OR

He was held back by Shaq and made Pau

nikkas ain't tryin to acknowledge the real so it's just fun to sit back and look at the lengths nikkas go to.

nikka :what: Kobe was never number one ever in his career? Are you fukking dense? SO we're going to sit here and act like Kobe didnt average 35 a game one year? 35. And that was in 06. 07? Scoring champ. 08? MVP. Sports is based on stats and Kobe is already third all time in playoff scoring and FIFTH on the all time scoring list. FIFTH. There're 4 nikkas above him. So in terms of scoring is already top 5. The hell is wrong with you? Hate is derived from ignorance.

This is really misleading. Your blind to the context of the situation. Kobe scored 35 a game just because he decided to shoot A LOT. He shot 45 percent that season, same as the rest of his career. He just chucked up more shots.

And his career will end with great accomplishment, but his all time scoring marks are a result of him coming into the league at 17 and shooting a lot. He's a volume scorer.

I really think taking his total stats and not his per game stats as your argument is a flawed way to talk about who he's better than.

I was with you before you implied that Wade is on par with Kobe :wtf:

I have no idea why it is so hard for people to acknowledge that Wade is at least equal to Kobe.

Wade career: 25.2 ppg, 6.2 Apg, 5.1 rpg, 1.8 spg, 1.0 bpg, 48.6 FG%, 25.7 PER, 56.6 TS%, 50 eFG%.

Kobe career: 25.4 ppg, 4.7 apg, 5.3 rpg, 1.5 spg, 0.5 bpg, 45.3 FG%, 23.4 PER, 55.4 TS%, 48.6 eFG%.

Stop acting like it's unfair to say. The fact of the matter is Wade has the same averages than him and he's more efficient.

People defer to career totals (He's fifth all time in scoring!!), which is a mark that is a testament to Kobe's longevity and time he entered the league (17 y/o), not a mark of being better.

If not, people are obsessed with the fact that he has five titles. Yes, he does, but put it in context. Wade doesn't get those first three with Shaq? Stop playing team results. Titles are a team accomplishment and Kobe has NEVER won a playoff series without Gasol/Shaq.

Kobe is terrific, but I'm just telling you the truth, and backing it with facts.

Statistically, he doesnt' seperate himself from Garnett/Duncan/Wade yet people set him apart from them.

So what exactly are we guaging who is the best by? Because were you old enough to actually see Magic and Bird and Kareem play to give some kind of non statistic approach of who was the the best. And seriously what the fukk are these terms and who created them?

So I cant use stats but you can? Man noone is going to agree with you that Kobe isnt as high on the list as he is so lets just forget all of this.
