I agree with this. The makeup and DNA of the people being drafted should not be the main concern. The concern will have to shift to who can afford the access. This is what I saw. Unless who were seriously noticed, most were there because their parents or somebody could afford to be get them there. And they were not majority black or strictly Americans and they may get next. It's happening in track too. Other groups are starting their kids crazy young. Besides athletes are an extreme outlier in the black community. They should not be looked at as to what is happening in the black community. I feel like it's more important to discuss how to grow wealth to keep black people competitive regardless of strictly talent.

Yup, not even accounting for the talent across the world and the NBA getting more global.

As such, in the not-so-distant future you're going to have to account for the kids from China who were genetically modified pretty much built to be the best at what they do (probably won't be uncommon to see other countries do the same) and these are also products of rich parents who can afford procedures like that.

Due to the rapidly shrinking middle class, the top are going to be open only to other top-earning families. Rich get richer.
