That’s where y’all losing me. That’s still being mixed. The genes didn’t go away. If you have admixed people marrying and having kids with other admixed people, the kids will not be full black. That’s not logical. It doesn’t matter how many generations we’re talking about. That’s like Zoe Kravitz marring another lighter complected person with mixed ancestry and their kids doing similar than decades later

95% of ADOS outside of coastal/low country types (Gullah-Geeche types in Georgia, South Carolina, N Carolina and Florida) is multi-generationally mixed. some just have more Euro, while others have less. You're probably willing to agree that this chick is admixed based on phenotype even though she's almost 100% African

while denying this guy his mixed pass lol

some future Coli nikka seeing their lightskin blue eyed great grandchildren and saying they “have no white family members so they’re full black” completely ignoring that their recent relatives were mixed people marring other mixed people. Everyone needs to take a genetic test then they’d see what I mean.

dude, you don't need to be heavily admixed to get light eyes

na, yall overdoing it with these "there ain't gonna be no more "real" black people in America in 50 years. It's gonna be a bunch of light brights running around looking like drake and mariah"

ADOS don't even mix out with non-blacks at a high enough rate for this to happen....this ain't like what black brits are doing doing out in the UK:mjtf:
Yes, cats are overdoing it with all that. But the country is getting less and less white and more people from other countries are becoming 3rd/4th/5th generation offspring of immigrants and integrating more especially in urban areas. It will not be like Brazil literally where over half the country is somesort of bi or triracial but by the end of the century demographics will be a lot different.

very interesting to see this on the male side because it was blaringly true/clear to me as a kid. all the female camps were like 85% white, black parents who could pay $400-1000 for a 4-6 week basketball camp were few and far between, these white girls was out there balling cuz they been in camps and leagues since 1st/2nd grade
Yup, at the end of the day, these parents with money are going to shell out.

Parents aren't only hiring academic tutors for their kids.

That dude who posts all those crazy footwork videos has a camp which probably ain't cheap:

Everyone else gotta hope their kid is good enough to want to warrant somebody wanting to mentor them (I think that was how Jalen Green started to workout with Steph's skills trainer), have a connection somewhere, have maybe a close relative or parent that knows the game very well or learn on their own.

Truth. Steph got naps while Klay almost looks like some kind of Middle East cat. His pops isn't that dark anyway so 100% pale WW plus not so dark brehs can create some Kaepernick looking dudes. Dress Klay up like a Saudi prince and you'd never know the difference at first glance.

Facts.

Now shouldn't that tell you where these Arabs come from?

They are descended from black men that mixed with white women millenia earlier. Arabic and Hebrew are both languages more closely related to languages spoken in Africa than outside of it. That should have been clear signal to rational people about where these groups originated from.

@Swagnificent is a frail, callanetics repping, PAWG loving, pedo mullato himself

How can I be frail while also doing calisthenics? It's literally impossible to not get jacked if you do calisthenics everyday.

Also I'm not mulatto. I'm similar to Steph in a way. 2 black parents who happen to be light skin. Both my grandmothers are also light skin. So was my maternal grandfather. However, my paternal grandfather was dark skin. So a large portion of my family is dark skin as well. My dad just came out light skin while a lot of his other siblings came out dark skin.

And the only reason black folks over there date out cause they're not even 5% of the population. You'd think they were damn near half. I believe Asians outnumber them. Most black people are dating, living around and fukking black people. I think it's around 10% of men and 5% of women that date whites or non black partners. Even then biracial blacks usually end up dating black folk anyway.

The Hood America
So, I'm watching the NBA Draft and I swear like half of the players have White moms now.

Is there like a specific reason this is happening now?

Like, does anybody notice that the NBA's getting lighter and lighter with all these mixed nikkaz running around?

And it can't just be "nikkaz like PAWGs" :yeshrug:

Even Paolo's got a White dad, now.

Also, what's up with all these 2nd generation players now?

The full Black dudes are all connected with parents who were in the league or WNBA.

It used to be the NBA was full of hood dudes like Allen Iverson or Darius Myles or country motherfukkers like Karl Malone & Michael Jordan.

Now, it's all these little rich kids with connections who go to La Lumiere or some rich ass academy.

And if it aint none of them, it's some Africans or Haitians or Canadians or shyt like that.

Is the league doing this shyt on purpose, or is this shyt just happening organically?

Are all the ADOS kids just playing football or something, now?

Are they purposely keeping us out?

WTF?
Look through my post history around this. I been saying this for years. Yes it is on purpose. Blame Lebron for being a successful Black American Man.

I remember reading a book called the outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. In the book, he discussed 10,000 hours of practice, the best hockey players being born in the winter, etc.,etc, etc..

I say this to say, these players have unlimited resources and are groomed to succeed unlike the average street dude that has to go to Rawkus to perfect his craft. Some of these players are being trained in junior high by Allen Iverson with a basketball court in their backyard. It's a different climate then back then.

I took Ancestry and 23&Me and came out as about 25% white on both. But that's me in my avi, you can't look at me and see white in me, right?

For the record, on my paternal side my great grandma (mother of my still living dad's mother) was a white woman from Sacramento who died in the 70s; on my maternal side, my still living grandmother's paternal family were Creoles from Louisiana, by her accounts a ton of light brights on her dad's side which we know Creoles are "mixed" by definition...

So for myself, even though I'd fall under a "fully black" standard that is defined as two black parents, I also understand that being just 3 generations removed from a white ancestor on my paternal side, and likely no more than 4 generations removed from white parentage on my maternal side, it's easy to understand that a have a good amount of white in me. Not gone lie, 25% seemed really high, but I get that genetics doesn't work like simple math...

I'm saying that to say, they are still black to me, Steph doesn't even have someone identifiable as "Caucasian" in his immediate family. The thing these black "gatekeepers" always seem to forget is that many of our freedom fighters throughout our history on this soil were quote/unquote "mixed". Are we going back and calling those brothers and sisters nonblack too?

The standards of blackness always move from two black parents to one black parent to no black parents to no one can be "mixed', to more and more disqualifiers, yet we lament our lack of representation DESPITE having all these disqualifiers for who we consider black...

I do appreciate your knowledge on black genetics that frame your opinion, because many of us don't even have that, I just disagree with you. Steph is black. So are Dell and Sonya. They have white ancestry in their line just like you and I, they just probably have more, but they didn't ask to be born and they aren't the ancestor(s) who procreated with someone white (if that creation was even voluntary anyway). They not responsible for how they look, fam and certainly aren't responsible for who their ancestors are...

Also all of these "questionably black" people to you consider themselves black and have lived a black existence their entire lives...

Same. I took a 23&Me and came out 79% Sub Saharan, 18% Euro, 3% Asian. I'm around your complexion. The results fukked me up because a) i'm dark brown skin and b) I went my entire life thinking my different traits (hair, eyes) came from Native American heritage but it was just Scottish cac :why: Basically what I got from it...is genes are a crapshoot. The average AfAm is 20% nonblack but, most of us still keep our dark/medium brown skintone even though we got other stuff swirling around in us but for people that are more mixed, which I think Steph is, those other genes start to emerge more. In terms of my family, I'm Chadwick Boseman's complexion. My dad is Jay-Z's complexion. My grandfather was Smokey Robinson's complexion and supposedly his dad looked like Klay Thompson, which I now realize is where the Scottish cac came from. I'm not trying to be a gatekeeper on blackness. I still consider Steph "black" in a cultural sense but, I just want to keep it 100 and say he has much more mixed heritage. I feel like thats why alot of black women have jacked up self esteem now because they try to compare themselves to lighter black women with green eyes and baby hair that look more racially ambigious not understanding that those people are much more admixed. But like you said, its not a perfect science. From what I remember, Snoop Dogg and Charles Barkley got tested, and Charles Barkley was "blacker" than Snoop even though Snoop is darker so who knows :yeshrug:

You answered your own question, everyone of black American ancestry has white in their background. Some just have more than others...

Sonya and Dell are both from Virginia, which is The Motherland of Black Culture in America. There are entire families with generations of light skin blacks in Virginia, of course there's white in there somewhere---->but no one has a white parent in some of these families for generations. Virginia is also the only place I've ever lived where BLACK people can trace their ancestry back to the boats...

Not everyone black, of course, but more people than you meet in any other state by far. Virginia is a special state and is wildly underrated in its importance in the foundation and framing of American black history...

Steph just comes from a line of generational light skin nikkas from Virginia; in Virginia nor a single black person FROM Virginia would look at them and think "must be mixed". It's alot of black folk like them running around that have to go well beyond grandparents to find the white ancestor...

The Tatum thing is funky but genetics can be weird sometimes. I'm guessing his mom and/or dad and/or baby moms may all have recent white ancestry, or some combination of the three, which would explain his son....

That white boy gonna grow up around mainly black folks in his immediate family (parents and at least three of his grandparents are black, maybe all four), and he's gonna grow up rich to boot with the white privilege his appearance will grant him. Gonna be real interesting how his life arcs...
Good points. Virginia had a lot of Igbos from Nigeria shipped to the shores. Out of all the west Africans I've seen, Igbos (not all but most) tend to be the lightest. Mix Igbo with a random white slave owner and you'll get some light skinned people. Most ADOS have significant Nigerian and often Igbo ancestry which is why a lot of our mixed kids come out ambiguous instead of looking

Yep, Barkley was like 75 or 76% African while Snoop was only 71%.

Snoop was like 22% Native American...so Charles ended up being both more black AND more white than Snoop since Charles had almost no Native blood.

Genes are crazy. My mom is like Beyoncé complexion with soft/wavy hair but she's 90% African. I'm about LeBrons complexion but 88% African. Genetics does crazy things.

Yup. But that makes sense. Your family has a range of skin tones (because you’re mostly black)…so some relatives might be light, some relatives might be darker. Just like my family but Steph, Seth and all their kids are really light. Not one chocolate person in sight. Somebody should’ve had a darker kid by now :patrice: which is why I think they’re mixed.
