I also saw this flick at the theaters when I was a kid. I was a stan of the tv show big time. Had all the toys. (The OG ones are better than the fragile junk they make now). I was when my parents took me to see the movie, and was literally when Prime died.

My son got to the point I was as a kid where he wants to watch this movie at least once a day A few months ago after he turned 4 I woke up to him singing "You Got the Touch" with all his transformers laying on his table fighting Optimus Prime and Megatron over them

You got it! and its remastered!

Some things just get better with age. 30 years later, The Transformers: The Movie is back, and it's completely remastered. Pick it up this September.
