It builds as the series progresses. For character progression and world-building.

I don't like the art style of the anime. It's like they went the lazy route except with shinsu, which hopefully will pay off as we see more of everyone's powers, but from the GoH trailer it seems like they put more money into that than this. You gotta at least draw the anime to the level of the webtoon.

nah, as somebody who's followed both for what feels like forever

ToG = Long term world building shounen with a great plot and character evolution

GoH = Knocking nikkas out in various and highly entertaining ways til it escalates to mini-Gurren Lagann levels.


I enjoy botch for different reasons. But if you're planning on watching ToG for some super high octane constant action, then nah, don't

ToG is like reading/watching an action packed mythology.

I'm reading the webtoon through at least the first season before I watch this. Da gawd @T-K-G has yet to steer me wrong on the recommendations. Got God of High School on deck too:mjlit:

he didnt. They really didn't show what he did. it sorta just... happened

The Black March thing didn't happen either

But this, like the fights, are better IMO

kinda feel like SIU hit us with the "If I could do it again, I'd do it this way"

that shyt with Khun and the falling knives :whew:
