I don’t know how they did it, but every time I watch the ending, right when the music kicks in, I get chills :wow:

the OST is so fire

So I saw this in the Rick and Morty thread and thought we got a glimpse of someone that looked an awful lot like a Shibisu easter egg.

Looked up Takashi Sano, the credited director of the clip and lo and behold. His credits include all 13 episodes of ToG season one.

This episode felt like filler. The beginning and ending was worth watching. But everything in-between just took up time. Episode seemed short too.

It's crazy how SIU predicted GPT 2 years before any of us heard about it. :wow:

Damn, I haven't watched yet but I'm hype for the Workshop battles. It's frustrating to hear that they added filler when they've speedrun through so many parts of the story. I really hope they saved the quality and production budget for this workshop arc.

FELT like filler. It wasn't actually filter.

We got one of my favorite reunions in the last episode, though it doesn't happen until the absolute end of the episode. But it's one of my favorite connections to season 1.

Khun and Rak's roles in the main trio got established in the untrustworthy room challenge (the red doors with a clock on the wall, where all they had to do was open any door). Khun is cold, cautious, and calculating. Rak is spontaneous, upfront, and reckless. So, Khun has done a bunch of strategizing and prep to save Baam. But the first character to meet Baam is Rak, who literally just walks up to FUG headquarters and rushes up to him.

We also should be starting the best game of the Workshop Battles in the next episode...it's got strategy, betrayals, and quality fights, aka all the stuff that made the first season so good. I just hope the execution is on point.
