Kind of what you'd expect from the CW, watchable but not great. Its benefiting a lot from Arrow as its lead in. It will be renwed by the low nielsen standings of the network but how many seasons it lasts depends on if it moves time slots or not. Mondays and Fridays are a death slot for shows on that network but anywhere else and you'll be good for at least 2 seasons. It is in the vein of the directionMark Pedowitz as the network head wants to go with more genre heavy shows. But the show itself feels similar to Roswell, Heroes etc. so dont expect something mandatory but you want something from the early to mid 2000s you watched at school or college, this is it. Just be prepated to the usual CW tropes (pointless love triangles)

Mid-season finale was cool, Ultra has a bad habit of letting people constantly escape from their facility.

Stephen's mom has been a non-factor, almost forgot about her until she popped up.

The founder seems like he could add something to the show, him force choking John was cool.

Its called X-Men.

It's nothing like the X-Men. They're humanoids with telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation powers, not a squad of people with completely different mutations. Really watch it. I think it's comparable to Arrow in quality.
