I don't get what u saying here..what u mean "Bink" status?..Bink had just as many placements on that album as Ye...same as Just Blaze...and Ye wasnt even the Roc's go to producer..even after The Blueprint...Just Blaze was...

same goes with Just Blaze, without Jay, he'd be bink status
shyt if Just Blaze and Kanye weren't around, Bink would've probably been on the Roc
as the go to guy

Bink ain't even talked about in any conversation has being the best anything
thats just a fact, despite his track record. Just Blaze got there before Ye, so of course he was the go to go, he's Just Blaze
what does that have to do with Kanye career.

Kanye arrived on that album, thats a fact.
The more popular joints in mainstream where Ye's not Bink on that album
what bink had that mama's love me and All I need
H to the Izzo was a single, Take Over is a track that's still talked about to this day, he did the hook on Never Change
you get what I'm saying, not to mention I already gave Jay a hit with This Can't Be Life
Bink never had any mainstream success despite being a dope producer
and you have to keep in mind Bink

But back to the point I made, spike lee needs another denzel to make movies with

African-American's Buying Power To Be $1.1 Trillion By 2015
Like I said black people have spending power. It's nothing to sneeze at. Problem is if a black person tries to do anything other black people will be overcritical and non-supportive. At some point you stop looking at them and what they'll let you do and you start looking at us and what we can do for ourselves. Negros used to own BET and sold it to Viacom. Those black magazines like Ebony were black owned too before they were sold.

Black economic spending power is scattered and unfocused and it most def isn't unified behind black owned businesses and black ideals.

It's funny cause other races have way more unity. With blacks much of the time it's me first and every man for himself but white people will go out of their way to avoid doing business with our kind and to do business with their own kind.

If negros are gonna wait for the white man to approve their ideas and back them they'll be waiting forever. You don't get or maintain power by giving it away.
You seem oblivious to whats really going on because you was born in the what, late 80's?
You keep talking like Black businesses sold out or something. No, Gus Johnson was offered a billion dollars and became the first black billionaire off that sale. An offer he couldn't refuse. He later said he regretted that deal because he didn't realize what was really good basically. What you seem to damn near purposely overlook is why would a White Owned Company even want to own Black Entertainment? Don't move onto the next subject, don't be like "Uh, I don't know but I do know black businesses don't unite blah blah blah"
Why would a white company wanna own B.E.T bruh? Nothing sinister about it? :usure:
Would you like me to show you all the programs that have been cancelled since? Or all the acts that were denied being allowed to have there videos played because it "doesn't fit in with there audience" was the exact words they used. Make no mistake, it isn't black ppl not sticking together MORE SO THAN ITS them trying to split black people apart :ufdup:They shove nonsense down our kids throats so all they know is ignorance. They brought the hood to your TV, your radio stations. You listen to the radio anymore? They made J cole apologize for using autism in a lyric, but when did they make a rapper apologize or have an outrage when they talk about selling crack, or STOP SNITCHING/etc. Think bruh, here me out.

Do they own Asian Entertianment or whatever other race you can think of? Do we even care about listening to russain music? How long you think this war been going on, since Trayvon? Since Rodney King? Since Martin Luther King? Nope, goes back even further bruh. Just because we have made progress doesn't mean those same powers that be are not still at it. You seem pretty oblivious to that, so you are not equipped to make a suggestion on how to fix it if you can't even acknowledge what is REALLY going on.

The problem is there were no black movie stars anymore
Denzel and Will Smith are old now
Will can' t be Mike Larry playboy fly nikka no more he damn near 50, he gotta be playing fathers and mentors in movies now
he gotta pick better movies and roles, or hire his own writers to make up some shyt that can cater to his strengths

You take a guy like Morgan Freeman, he always been Morgan Freeman, he was never the hero, leading man type of guy
but thats also why he had a long career, he play those roles of an elderman

Spike brought Denzel into the game man, them nikkaz was like the dynamic duo, but who the next one to step up
it's a producer needs a dope artist to shine on their beats in order to blow up. If Jay-Z never rapped on Kanye beats he never would've blew up

This Michael B jordan nikka seems like the only one out there, but he gotta get better roles
to me he aight, he ain't no Will Smith or no Denzel Washington he don't jump off the screen like tha to me
he kind of remind me of a better version of Nick Cannon without the goofiness.

Spike need to try find some new fresh faces like he did with Denzel, and write movies with the lead actor in mind
i

That is what I aim saying. Will Smith is 45 and Denzel is damn near 60. Where is the young blood for Black Hollywood?

Like most actors these days, they not being casted for big budget movies.
Hollywood in general is so concerned with blockbusters that they want only big names to star in anything.
If a movie wasn't a blockbuster, it makes more sense to use lesser known actors. Those types of movies are not being made right now. So a movie that is geared towards an "urban" audience would be even further down that pole. But movies do get made, they probably just going straight to DVD and we miss out :manny:
All the movies that are really great over the last 5+ years started off as smaller films. We actually look towards things like Sundance Film Festivals. It used to be an every once in a while thing where a breakout movie comes from there. Now its like they all come from there. Times a changing, not for the better...

Am I the only nikka tired of black movies? Who the fukk cares, we're the minority in this country, get over it nikkas. Black movies are always garbage anyway, so why should we give a flying fukk about a black movie?
And ladies and gentlemen, there you have the mind-state of the black community in 2013

you're all about point the finger at someone else. blacks can't change what whites do but blacks can change what blacks do. the good thing about being a victim is it isn't your fault the bad thing about being a victim is it isn't your fault.

my suggestion to fix black issues is blacks take control consciously over the things they can control. all you're talking about it things that are in other people's power.

Wrong, the difference is you keep saying black ppl didn't do this/that so thats why ish is fukked.
I'm saying white people did do this/that to fukk up black shyt. Not sure where you live, it could be the supa ghetto. But you self proclaimed introvert who has a warped view of just relationships altogether is not in a position to talk about people in as a whole since your stance is you try to avoid people every chance you get. From your command center you say "You pointing fingers" but I'm doing more than "Just that"
See bruh, I'm pointing to the moon while you only looking at my finger, thats the problem here
Thats why you chose to not even reply to what I said. You just "pointed a finger" without even a mention to what I previously said. You have shown threw out this thread that you don't believe there is a finger to point. You really think white people haven't for the last century tried and successfully thwarted black growth?
Didn't MLK get assassinated? Didn't Rodney King get his ass whooped? Isn't Bill Clinton known as being cool with blacks even tho he made conditions worse for them overall? Didn't Trayvon just get merked and his killer was allowed to walk free because of a coverup? Uniting and singing Kumbaya isn't gonna do shyt if we don't know what we fighting against. Its seems like you don't really want black people to fight against whats really wrong, you'd rather we fight amongst each other. Or maybe we should go support OldBoy as you said to really show White America we mean business :shaq2:

The mindstate of Hollywood these days is all or nothing. Soon, that shyt is gonna collapse on itself and make producers seek out originality again.

I thought c00nery meant catering to a white audience at your own embarrassment and ignorance. Them TP plays be on point.
It does, apparently these cats have their own definition of minstrel show and c00nery. Chappelle show was a better example but we over look that because it was hilarious but you see how white people loved that shyt. Dave even started asking himself "are they laughing with me or at me?"

Oh so you the authority on where black people spend there money :leon:
Ok, where they spending it?

While you try to figure something to muster up there, black people have spoken, they still speak. Tyler Perry is one shining example and you failed to even touch on what his movies bring to the table. All you mentioned was c00n and "it is what it is" what, you mean White America destroying any black movies that caters to them? Spike isn't the only one struggling for funding. And because of the rise of the internet? Every genre is struggling. We download everything. The major studios are going hard with blockbusters and now thats backfiring. And you think with that going on that Black movies wouldn't of felt that crunch FIRST? Come on man, open your eyes. "THEY" want you to hate TP. He has two new shows now on Oprah's Network, both are the highest rated shows on her stations history :manny:
White people fukked with Oprah's show on network TV, but her actual network? You don't hear much about it, you probably never been there. They don't want nikkaz owning there own networks and winning. So they'll get YOU to call it c00ning and spread that good word. But like I said, Madea in particular is no different than the average young black male. Take away the dress, tone down the attitude a lil bit? Her thoughts would mirror that of the young black man, fighting for a better life for his people. MIRRORS IT.
Madea would be to much for America (mainly white america) if there was no dress. Just a grown black man going hard on people. They wouldn't allow TP to be where he is if that were the case. Look past the dress, and analyze the rest

Powerful post,u can tell who's never seen any of the movies..."bu bu but the darkskin black guy is always the villian" meanwhile Idris Elba wuz a single father tryna get his daughters back from a unfit mother and it was a good movie with Gabrielle Union fine azz:ohlawd:...I remember alotta y'all watchin "The Game" and this wuz after it wuz extra wack lol,if u can find meritt in that bullshyt Tyler can do his thing, there normally is some kindve message in it and is in the vein of those black stage plays if u never seen one? If u have seen one you'll understand a lilttle bettter that's what he knwos how to do.

I understood Spikes criticsm but it wuz way too harsh and disrespectful and elitist...personally Spikes movies always been overated to me too....but he does what he does and has had a couple good movies...X coulda been better and deserves another remake:ufdup:...you exactly right, they do want people to hate TP and its workin...Kevin Hart was inspired by TP he said as well and did it himself....its not that easy I know but take a page out the mans book and respect his hussle...gotta love black actors is getting work and not just having to play criminals on law and order or gettin fuked Halle Berry style on sum random straight to dvd hood flick...ol girl from Coming To America on Belly2:steviej:

To be fair, Eddie RAN hollywood in the 80's early 90's. And he voice acting for cartoons is still top notch.
The thing about him now, he was real raunchy, then he cleaned it up, and the result has been mixed.
But Eddie still wants to make relevant movies, its Hollywood that isn't letting him make it. I was just watching him talk about it again, but he been trying to do the James Brown Movie for a decade now...
