I’ve only been to Nashville twice but I would’ve guessed without even looking that it’s expensive AF to live there lol. Man I spent all kinds of money just hanging out there for the weekend.. I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt btw if y’all ever visit.-
nikkas on thecoli just be making shyt up. A $500,000.00 home in Nashville is no where close to being a mansion. The average price of a home in Nashville is over $400,000. That is the average. That shyt is higher than Chicago, which is only a little over $300,000.00; Dallas, which is under $300,000.00; Houston which is under $250,000.00; Charlotte which is under $360,000.00; Atlanta which is under $370,000.00 and Orlando which is under $340,000.00. Housing prices in Nashville are lower than Los Angeles, but Nashville is among the most overpriced housing markets in America.

Hondas ain’t even cheap anymore…1. Why would you be paying $600 for a car? Unless you got serious bread you probably shouldn’t commit that much to a car. You need to get your ass lil Honda Accord and call it a day. We were paying $400 for a brand new car in 2012 and haven’t had a car payment since like 2017.
2. Rent/Mortgage is the biggest expense for the vast majority of people, so the fact that there is a big difference in cost means A LOT. Not to mention food in general often times costs more in high COL areas as well. Taxes are also higher in a lot of those areas.
Forgot to add dealing with openly racist cacs. Living up north will give you a peace of mind you won’t find down south.
What just happened in BuffaloBy no means am I denying that racism exists up north; wherever whites exist in large numbers, minorities within the same population - especially black people - will encounter racism.
But, that aside, there is no debate over specific forms of abuse being present down south and absent up north.
I can jog in this state without being accosted by cacs and shot the way Ahmaud Arbery was.
If a black boy was murdered by someone like Zimmerman under similar circumstances, the killer would not he acquitted.
But a Trayvon Martin incident wouldn’t even happen in my state.
Black people can stay in gentrified areas if they can afford it. No one is driving them out because of their race.
The difference between the north and south, when it comes to the black experience, is night and day.
Remember, this discussion centered around my point that living up north comes with a peace of mind black people cannot find down south. I stand my that.
One of the executives of State Farm made 24 million, 60% of the people driving have no insurance, 1000’s of cases get thrown out, are there people filing false claims yes, but no one ever says hey why State Farm eating so goodFood and drinks are cheaper in Qtlanta.
Insurance is going up and will continue to go up because Qtlanta has one of the highest fukking ratio of personal injury lawyers in the south east.
Next time you cry about insurance premiums look at all those bullshyt attorneys putting in false injury claims .
They still ain’t anywhere close to $600 per month unless you buy a brand new fully loaded one and put nothing down…. Which is still stupid if you’re trying to save money. But you’re that they’re not as cheap as they used to be.Hondas ain’t even cheap anymore…
Inflation will force people to more rural areas, but yes cost of living is catching up to the south, but also keep in mind the bigger cities have ridiculous inflation (h town, Dallas, atl, Miami, Charlotte, Nashville) so no you can’t expect to move to atl and get a big ass house for 300k unless you in the boonies
Type R is definitely more than 600 a month. And touring trim is definitely around that price too. A lot of y’all ain’t buy cars in a minute I can tell by how y’all talk. They still ain’t anywhere close to $600 per month unless you buy a brand new fully loaded one and put nothing down…. Which is still stupid if you’re trying to save money. But you’re that they’re not as cheap as they used to be.

What just happened in Buffalo
You living in a fantasy world if you seriously believe all that shyt.
I had numerous Black folks tell me that the north was way more openly racist then the south. A cac in Buffalo NY just shot up a grocery store full of Black people last month.
Nah bro Nashville is booming.500k home in Seattle is a small house in the suburbs compared to 500k in nashville, thats a mansion
That was an extraordinary event, but hardly representative of the north. The distinction I’ve drawn between the north and south meant to highlight the superior quality of life for black people - stronger safety nets, better education, less violence, etc.
I stand by what I said.
