HBO did a marathon a couple weeks ago and I tuned in and out for a week. The show is so rewatchable. During my own personal rewatch a year ago I ended up stopping before the last couple eps...I just couldn't will myself to watch. But I have a feeling I'm gonna just rewatch the entire thing from the beginning and finish again.
Each episode can stand on its own. There are connecting plots of course, but each episode has some type of unique side plot or character interactions that make it easy to rewatch. All the stuff about getting into colleges in the first season, or the retirement home stuff, etc. It's great.

Season 6A is works way better when you don't have to wait a week on each episode. I hated most of 6A (always loved the dream episodes tho) when it first aired but rewatching it I liked it more and more.

Season 1-3 is probably the best stuff we've ever seen on TV. Series as a whole is great as you can most definitely treat each episode as it's own.
Only series touching it too me in overall quality is Thrones. They will go down as 1a and 1b.

Just started the rewatch last week cause of all the 20 year anniversary stuff going on
Already on season 4

I remember watching avengers 3 and being impressed by how they made all the stories lines click with the amount of characters they had. David chase did it for 86 episodes.
Season 3 of the Sopranos really crystalizes how much of scumbags these gangsters are and how big of hypocrites Carmela and the other women are. Tony and Ralphie green lit Jackie Jr. to get killed. And lie to Jackie's mother, Meadow and everyone that he got killed selling drugs in the projects. 
Meadow was the only one without blinders on who knew Tony's mob family had to have something to do with the murder.

Meadow later bought the family storyline though, and essentially will be a Mob lawyer, or adjacent.
