I would be fine with the Chase original cut of an ending where Tony goes to sit down with Phil and doesn't come back through the tunnel, it isn't shown, but is implied....I think that fits with the show and would be dope. Esp. if they did some sort of backtrack through the intro, with maybe a slow, more melodic version of the intro playing, that would have been very dope. An execution for no established reason in front of his family, is way too melodramatic for me.

I think the ending was perfect and genius. It would have been too cliche to have him murdered in front of his family. Plus, all the murders in the show were never silly and sensationalized(well outside Paulie and Chris shooting that waiter) If he would have been killed it wouldn’t be that way. The ending scene was kinda full circle. If you remember, the very first episode tony feared his family would go away, like the ducks in his pool. Well the dinner scene was them all coming together one by one, despite everything else
Reach. Tony always wanted meadow to be with someone who was close to their culture. AJ took over the Chris role minus the drug dependency with the film shyt. Plus NY ok the hit on Phil

I think the best relationship Tony had on the show was with Silvio... He was a leftover from the old crew. Tony really respected him more than anyone on the show. Silvo was the PERFECT underboss. He was rational, kind, but was probably the most ruthless. He wasn't a hot head like tony.
Also he wasn't afraid to call tony out his BS like the scene where he told tony, he had a problem with authority, or how he made him see the other side of the vito saga when tony was talking about bringing him back in. Just so many powerful scenes wit the two. It's like Silvo didn't have to say anything, he just gave tony "that look" and he knew..
Phil was funny as hell, he had classic lines for days as well... I like Johnny Sack as well. Even though tony was a hot head. He tread lightly with any disrespect for NY guys. And his idiot cousin started the whole beef with phil...

A lot of people didn't like the dream sequences for some reason, but I thought they were interesting and showed better than anything else I've watched EXACTLY how dreams are. It was totally on point because my dreams are the same - random weird conversations with people here and gone, fukking a chick one minute then the next driving a car somewhere, talking animals, etc
