And natural resources to support Chinese consumption and reserve of money to fund BRIC infrastructure is something to offer
Basically they said that NATO wasn't worth shyt cause it didn't resist the takeover of Crimea and felt that the US wouldn't come to help them cause of how Russia just stole Crimea and would destabilize the region even more.
Then a few weeks later, the US starts dropping off soldiers in Polish bases and NATO reinforces their commitments to the region
