I've been reading Faces at the bottom of the well: the permanence of racism by Derrick Bell. My Dads been telling me for A long time to read the book and I finally managed to do it this past week. Easily one of the best books I've read in the past year

One of his more recent books, Race, Racism and American Law is also a fantastic read.
I wish more Black people with any involvement in the judicial system had read that book, among Michelle Alexander, and Patricia Hill Collins.

Just finished reading "My life in the Bush of Ghosts", Amos Tutuola...first book I've ever read form him, instantly became one of my favorites :wow:

Finally read Next time he fire by Baldwin after seeing I am not your Negro :ehh:

Has anyone read the book "Why I'm no longer speaking to White people about ace" by Reni Eddo-Lodge? I was it the other day at this english-speaking bookshop here in Paris and was considering buying it

I might cop this shyt. Looks good and Robin Walkers has been a credible scholar. Hope I find some good treasures in this so I can post it in my Sahel thread.

For some reason its hard for me to finish non-fiction books but hopefully I have the time and dedication to finish this. Again looks and sounds good. Hope there is more Timbuktu/West Africa than Ancient Egypt.
