That first book was eye opening for me and also gave me new fodder to debate white supremacists.just got done reading this
and this
I'm starting this
On the flip side, I've seen southern whites mostly try to use the issue brought up by that book that "See northerns engaged in slavery too. why are you only picking on us?

Yep definitely an eye opener, even more so for me because a lot of the cities mentioned in the book I travel through, and have been around and my father's family actually lived through those times. Crazy when you know exactly the places they are talking about in Alabama.
As for the racist, just call them out on deflecting. I always do that and say so what, most of the time they have no rational reply. When they say get over it , I ask why they haven't gotten over 9/11 or the holocaust and they usually start stammering again.

I been slacking too man. I Haven't been on this site for most of the year and just got back on recently. Haven't had much time to read anything this year aside from Programming books, but I hope I'm able to get through these by the end of the year.

Read it before and wanted to get a refresher after seeing him on the Rock Newman show.How you liked it?Say, does the book have a price on the back? I would love to add this to the Art & Photography section at work.

Had it since last November, but just recently started to read it again
Pretty good, very informative if nothing else.
Has pics of the actual documents some of the info was taken from. A lot of maroon nikkaz ended up selling out unfortunately but there were some great ones among them. Good book if you want to start studying maroon society and the response to them.
I really hope yall are buying these books from Black owned businesses, kinda defeats the purpose if you going to the yts for this knowledge.
