My boy inspired me to get a book on investing.

Her books would be so piff on the big screen , problem is all her protagonists are black and female. You know Hollywood ain't trying to have a black female lead in a Sci Fi

On the cover Dawn, you see the main lead pictured as a white woman who should be black. She's very overt & clear about her leads being black within the text, her publishers did her dirty on that . The inevitable whitewashing Hollywood would do to one of her books would be get me too heated.

That's fukked up You would think they'd have a shred of integrity smh.

Big Octavia Butler fan as well. I've long been an advocate of seeing her stuff on the big screen, it would crush Hunger Games/Divergent series

"Slavery By Another Name" by Douglas Blackmon, important but horrifying read

This book and the documentary should be made mandatory in the school curriculum, if i had my way.

Something needs to be done. These companies who benefited from that need to be taken to court.

Whats so fukked up, is that this shiit has been completely buriedm.
