could u imagine miliato over some top chef production at that time , if a nikka took all the best songs off of million and took the best songs off of da hustle dont stop, well then we'd have a classic on our hands, they snuffed my nikka out b4 his time u know if he got any unreleased music/tapes?
i'm leaving is good I liked Nore on it but it's only him and nat, so it's not really a Firm joint at least in my eyes, I tried to put songs where they was three members at least (with the exception of Hardcore and everyday thing) throw ya gun was average
5 minutes to flush the beat is corny to me
I like Nature but to me Cormega was the the Firm essence even tho Nature was a better rapper. That's why I put the version of family with Mega instead of Nat
there aren't any DJ-less versions of the tracks on this album?
I could do without Clue screaming on tracks, fuks up the flow of the LP
by late 90s standards it was underwhelming. (Not because of the lyrics/talent because they were all top tier emcees at the time, and Nas and AZ still are as of 2012... It was underwhelming more so because of the song choices)
However if it came out today people would probably rate it 4/4.5 out of 5 bro.
Anyone got a CDQ of that Firm freestyle with Mary J blige and Nas disses Pac and Nature disses Mega?
an MP3 of affirmative action wouldn't hurt neither, might as well make this album complete and essential.
edit:
fuk it, i need every track they did during that era as a collective
Desperados II doesn't exist without a DJ.
taking off "I'm Leaving" when it was a top 3 joint on there is but word to having the "State Vs. Sosa" on there.
is that version on there the full, no dj version? i been looking for that shyt for years, every version i find either is a snippet or has a DJ screaming on it.
