the t-wolves would be cooking with fire if they potentially have the rookie of the year and end up with the 2015 1st overall pick
Another game. Another 20 point night. Its become routine for him now. He started the game 1-6 with only 4 points in the first half. A few weeks ago, he would've ended the game with that stat line. Now, he turns around in the second half and finishes the game with 20/7/4 on 8-18 shooting. I wouldn't be surprised if he averages 20ppg the rest of the season.
and its not just numbers. At the start of the year he could only score while being assisted. Either being spoon fed near the basket or scoring off catch n shoots in the perimeter. Then all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago he debuted a post game (something that took LeBron 9 years to figure out). Now if you put a guard on him or a small 3, he can get him in the post where he has developed a nice step back jump shot and even a kobe-esque fadeaway jumper. And then yesterday, he debuted another aspect of his evolving game. He's now attacking defenses from pick n rolls. Even with a suspect handle, he showed nice ability being able to read the help and either turning the corner to go to the basket or simply side stepping the pick and taking the jump shot. He even trusted his handle enough last night to take the ball a couple of times coast to coast from his basket to the other. Something I didn't see earlier this season.
We haven't even hit the summer yet and he's improving by leaps and bounds each week.

He wouldn't develop there because he woulda been forced into being just a spot up shooter and defender (like everyone else who plays with Bron).
What's the point of this post other than to throw unnecessary shade?During that span whats the rate of improvement of the team? I'll wait.......
Love averaged what. 26 12 and 4 on a medicore team and people called it ''empty'' and ''stat padding''.What's the point of this post other than to throw unnecessary shade?

But nikkas is supposed to get hyped over stats from a lottery team? Yeah it's cool to see him developing as a player but everything should be taken with a grain a salt until the team starts winning.
Rookies are not held to the same standard of winning, Kevin Love was in his 6th fukking season, why even reference that?
Nobody is looking at Anthony Davis and saying "empty stats" cause people are smart enough to realize he's young, but apparently Wiggins is supposed to lead his team to wins right now in his first year
You speak as if he wasn't a number one draft pick and din't have a lot of hype coming from high school. I'm not saying they should be competing for the playoffs, but until the whole team comes together I'm not buying into stats, but I will buy into his improvements.
