I think he's just crazy as hell and this was his plan all along. He was going to force himself on her on some obsession shyt or else he was going to expose her. Now season 2 is going to be him exposing her.
no, he is young cat fooling around with an older woman who is caught in his feelings and not paying attention to her struggle

So as far as Cedric's murder case...is it over? Any investigation or indictment? When's he going to trial?

The girl's brother killed the dude who actually did it but Cedric was still the number one suspect to the police. Where's the follow-up?

You mean the murder where the Black woman died?

Police in real life don't even bother on following up on that type of shyt if they don't get it right away. :yeshrug:

I wasn't a fan of that scene with Noni and Ebony. It's cool Noni plotted to get drum major kicked off the team but c'mon now. lol Thank you but no thank you. :pachaha: Ebony could've died because of that "hazing". fukk getting him kicked off the team, that nikka should be arrested. I wish they didn't make Ebony so forgiving at the moment. I was ready for her to give Noni a serious reality check.

I also didn't like the season ending with Terrence's suicide. I felt like it was an easy out instead of creating a post-football storyline.

Overall, I liked the season and it's good to see BET with some original programming. I think the finale could've been better though. :manny:

Don’t BET on it.

Respected trade publications including Variety and The Wrap reported this week that BET has confirmed to them that Head of Programming Zola Mashariki had been let go. That came as a surprise to Mashariki, who's on medical leave and expected to return in a couple of weeks.

It was first reported on Wednesday that Mashariki, along with BET President of Programming Stephen Hill, was exiting the network as part of a programming shakeup executed by Viacom CEO Bob Bakish.

On Friday, Mashariki attempted to set the record straight by sending an email to co-workers saying that she's been on medical leave since being diagnosed with breast cancer in December and plans to come back on April 11.

“Bob Bakish has said our company values should be honesty, empathy and bravery. I agree with this wholeheartedly,” she wrote, adding that “without question, including me in Stephen's departure announcement in not in keeping with those values.”

Sources close to the situation say that there have been tensions between Mashariki and Hill since she came over to BET from Fox Searchlight in 2014.

We're told that when Mashariki first informed BET that she was taking leave, Hill expressed discontent with her absence.

“You can't fire someone on medical leave,” fumed one angry insider. “Her contract is through 2018.”

As part of BET's restructuring, they will also be closing offices in Washington, D.C., and moving some staffers to Los Angeles.

BET rep Tracy McGraw, who confirms that Mashariki is no longer with the network, insists that they did nothing wrong.

“We strongly deny any allegation of wrongdoing. In addition, we will not comment on specific employee matters,” said McGraw.

After the Daily News called to ask about this story, a separate source says BET leaked their side of the story to a rival news outlet hoping for friendlier coverage.

BET did not immediately respond to that accusation

Yeah, I didn't really buy that either :francis:. We barely saw them as roommates, so it's hard to believe that Noni's driving factor for joining the team was to get some kind of revenge for Ebony. From what we saw of her scenes it just seemed like she was a band geek who was driven to succeed and mainly fukked w/the drum major because he was gunning for her.

The opening to the season finale was :whew:. Anika is so fine, and easily one of the best actresses on the show. A show which seemed to lean into more melodrama and soapy elements for the season finale. If it comes back, I hope they would approve on the characterization and writing.

Like the fine lightskin chick that Cedric was helping tutor the little kids. I believe this was the 1st episode she was in. One minute she seems done w/him helping the kids, the next she's at his door and they are having sex :heh:.

Football coach was one of the better actors, but he was in a tough position w/Terrence.

just finished wathing the season.

well-done.

they even did a great job of making me sympathize for even the biggest dirtbags on the show. I even almost felt sorry for the rapist. he wasn't tryna cause pain to those women. hes just a dumb ass jock, who is used to getting the p*ssy handed to him on a silver platter.

not defending that at all,but it kinda puts things in perspective a bit. still good riddens to that waste of talent.
