Oh god. Now another girl is accusing Terrance of rape. This is all coming together exactly how I thought except they are making Terrance stupid in the process too.

Oh god. Now another girl is accusing Terrance of rape. This is all coming together exactly how I thought except they are making Terrance stupid in the process too.

-Terrance gets accused of rape and it kills his chances as the starting QB.
-They just had the sit down with Terrance and the backup The Great White Hope QB and the Great White Hope QB was smarter than Terrance which re-enforces the stereotype that white QB's are smarter than black QB's.

-Starting QB is a rapist and not smart enough to be a great QB.
-Backup white QB is smart and the hero that takes them to the promise land.

Yeah I think they dropped the ball with that storyline

It would've been a lot more interesting if it wasn't obvious that Terrance raped Sydney and it was a more he said she said thing. Maybe Syndey accused him of rape to cover up that she got drunk in public and put her moms reputation on the line again, or if he didn't rape her but she thinks he did because she couldn't remember anything from the night before. Maybe Terrance is found guilty and kicked off the team when he didn't do anything, or he actually did do it but isn't found guilty. There's a lot of better and more complicated scenarios they could've went with

The storyline with the two QB's could be better too. I was pleasantly surprised when Bo John went into the first game only to fumble and have Terrance pick up the loose ball for the game winning score. They should go back to more of that, to show that while Bo John is supposed to be the guy who has next Terrance is also a great QB and the starter for a reason. Instead of them going at each other's necks still they could grow to have respect for one another despite being in a heated QB battle. At the end Terrance gets hurt and Bo John takes over, or Terrance finishes out the season and graduates, giving the keys to Bo John

Yes, I peeped this too. As soon as I saw them recruiting the white boy, it had only one way to go...Bushes status for the brotha.
The rape charge angle against the breh was a left hook that I wasn't expecting at first but after questioning his aptitude in comparison to the white boy's during the game tapes scene, during the latest episode, it further solidifies that Terrance is on borrowed time.
White boy gonna to the rescue, save the season and will be smashing ol girl by season 2.
