At first I thought this was dope, but everytime I think about the movie setting the dumber it gets.

He clearly is wealthy enough to have a big ass house that can be super locked down.

1. Are vacations illegal in the future too?
2. He had money for a security system that crazy, but couldn't spare expense for 1 or 2 special ops mercenaries to come through and chill for a night?
3. Safe Room? He got that system and no secondary protection.
4. Automatic guns targeting anyone on his property.
5. Armed mines all over his yard.
6. Doors that electrocuted anyone that touched them

For a person with that much resources (money) it's not that scary of a night. He just fukked up on his end. The kid in home alone had more protection on his shyt than the people knowing this day is coming. If they wanted it to be truly scary then should've placed the whole home invasion angle on someone without all of that shyt just trying to protect his family in the hood or something. I might not go see this shyt now.

Oh trust me the actual movie has this much plot holes and more

I like that thought. Billions >>>>>>>>> millions tho...so i'd expect any top level criminal hackers to take the money upfront and still rob the banking groups that have paid them.

Actually it would probably become a battle between good guy hackers trying to do their job to keep the money from being taken and the bad guy hackers trying to get that money. The cat and mouse game would be exciting to watch. :lupe:
They would probably unplug all the servers for a day, no access.

Movie cost 3milll to make an made over 36 on opening weekend. Crazy return.

The guy who produced this did Paranormal Activity (which I just found out cost 15 grand to make and grossed approx 200 worldwide.

I guess it's true horror movies have the best return for studios.

Yea i thought that too, but that just means you'd have to break in and get direct access to the mainframe and hack it that way. Bring a generator with you too in case the power is off also. :win:

Anyway i saw this yesterday and i gotta agree it was hot garbage....but i did like how Ethan was going HAM on them nikkas :loljay:

Heard the horrible reviews and shyt but after seeing how small the budget was i understand why they didnt show more purge going on around the world because of costs so hopefully a good weekend can green light a bigger budget sequal with citizens going after the founders.

Is there a viral website or something with more info about what caused this shyt cause even tho i was dissapointed as fukk i love the concept. Oh and for dude who asked if this was the 1st. They showed footage with a 2017 date and the year is 2022 in the film

The trailer makes it seem water down, Judgment Night seems more entertaining.

His kid lets his house get breached. :childplease: This should have been produced by Disney. How is the most important button in this house not password protected?
