At first I thought this was dope, but everytime I think about the movie setting the dumber it gets.
He clearly is wealthy enough to have a big ass house that can be super locked down.
1. Are vacations illegal in the future too?
2. He had money for a security system that crazy, but couldn't spare expense for 1 or 2 special ops mercenaries to come through and chill for a night?
3. Safe Room? He got that system and no secondary protection.
4. Automatic guns targeting anyone on his property.
5. Armed mines all over his yard.
6. Doors that electrocuted anyone that touched them
For a person with that much resources (money) it's not that scary of a night. He just fukked up on his end. The kid in home alone had more protection on his shyt than the people knowing this day is coming. If they wanted it to be truly scary then should've placed the whole home invasion angle on someone without all of that shyt just trying to protect his family in the hood or something. I might not go see this shyt now.
Oh trust me the actual movie has this much plot holes and more
