The people who disrespected him never agreed with him to begin with. Obama won his first election running as a Progressive. He was able to beat Clinton because he ran to the left of her. Fox news was calling him a socialist trying to scare people and he still won. When he got in office he became more "centrist" which was disappointing because "centrist" means keeping a jacked up status quo. It seemed like he neutered himself. You keep saying he would've been met with hate and resistance but he was met with that ANYWAY trying to pass center of the road inoffensive legislation.

Might as well fight for what you really believe in instead of compromising out of the gate. That weak ass strategy has consistently cost the Dems. Trump is showing us how to use power even with low approval ratings. But I'm delusional??

I feel what you're saying. Obama had to move to the center because his own party didn't want him to be too progressive. Remember when Ted Kennedy endorsed Obama back in early 08. Most of the part lost their fukkin minds. It wasn't supposed to go that way.

Also keep in mind most democrats move to the center in Presidential elections. The only President in my lifetime to not really do that was Jimmy Carter and he was a punchline until fairly recently.

This is exactly what I'm saying. "Congress was blocking him" and yet the Democrats had control of both the house AND senate at a point in his presidency and yet somehow he still couldn't do anything for blacks with the Democrats in control. Why is that? Were the Democrats blocking him? If the Democrats were blocking him as well, then why would we want to vote for more of that? Somehow he didn't have problems going to bat for homos and illegals, but when it comes to blacks, there's a million and one excuses. Maybe instead of going hard for niche groups like trannies and instead got behind their most loyal base, Trump wouldn't be in office.

More people are going harder at Democrats because there is a large contingent here acting like if you don't vote for Democrats or if you don't get behind the Democratic agenda, you are a c00n or you're a sellout, when the Democrats are every bit supporters of white supremacy as the Republicans. If there was a large group screaming how we need to get behind trump or you're a c00n, then they'd get that pushback too. It's hilarious how people act like Democrats aren't another arm of white supremacy when Hillary is praising Margaret Sanger and Al Gore wants Africa's population to be 'managed' using the same things they used to destroy the black community here in America like feminism. You see Bill Gates with his sinister, sneaky smile as Gore is talking... and Gates father was a eugenicist and the head of planned parenthood at a time.





Abortion has resulted in over 10 million blacks not being born. Hmm, why do you think they are so interested in controlling the black population... Oh yea, they realize that blacks and other minorities are rapidly outpacing the population of whites, and this was known as far back as the early 1900s. One only has to do research on Malthusian eugenics to see that some of these elite, racist whites realized that the population of the 'colored' was outstripping the population of whites. These Democrats are so crafty they have negroes screaming and cheering and calling members who disagree with their policies 'sellouts' and 'c00ns' when they are perpetuating policies that limit the population growth of blacks and other minorities in order to keep white supremacy in place.

You dudes are so steadfast in your political opinions but you dudes obviously know nothing about how governing and legislating works. Obama had a majority for a mere couple of months. Then Ted Kennedy died and he lost it. They couldn’t do anything without a couple of republikkkans voting with them and they were locked in unity to vote against ANYTHING Obama proposed. This lasted FOR THE REST OF THE ENTIRE 8 YEARS OF HIS PRESIDENCY. Yet in spite of all of this, he accomplished everything he did in the OP for black people, save the auto industry, saved the Economy, expanded Medicaid, got us out of iraq, killed Osama’s bytch ass, kept us safe from terrorism, gave us some criminal justice reforms, and so much more.

I'm tryna find all the black people who were in this my brothers keeper program. Not a single relative, friend or friend of a friend. But I'm sure we can find some through google and deep research. I can prolly get 1 or 2 hits if I put a facebook message out there amongst a thousandish people tho

MBK wasn't really a specific program. It was a public-private partnership/call-to-action that challenged private entities, non-profits and departments of government (specifically the Department of Education) to donate money OR create mentorship programming specifically aimed and boys and young men of color.

So you probably wouldn't find specific programs called that unless a one entity who received funds or started programming decided to call it that.
