This game was fukking horrible. I wanted everyone except Auron and Kamir to die. Tidus is the most horrible annoying piece of shyt main character :snoop:. The fights were trash, plot was trash, etc. Blitzball wasn't too bad but was still garbage because it made no sense. No airship to fly/control... etc.

This guy destroyed this game breh, he did the same to 8 but came to the realization that it wasn't that fukking bad in comparison.

I don't understand the VII hate. Some of you might want to revisit it. It's a damn good game.

VII just isnt that good. I like a lot of stuff in it, like the terrorism angle, and the characters especially, but the overarching plot is weak, I can beat the game by mashing attack. That said it is a solid game. It is a mid tier FF, about on par with X.

I loved it, but a lot of people complained about it because you had to tinker with it a lot. You had to junction different things with different characters to see who made the best use of everything. Some people felt it was too complicated.:ld:

No, the problem people had with 8's system was that one could become super powerful very early grinding and drawing magic. Add to that, it disincentivized using said magic as a character's abilities would decrease if magic was junctioned to it. It didn't ruin the game but ... I understand people's complaints.

When the game came out people didn't know it was easily breakable. People felt it was too complicated upon release and confusing. It wasnt until later years when the doors blew open for FF8. I thought it was okay first time I played it. Second time I played it a few years later I loved it.

Final Fantasy XII is the best Final Fantasy.

I've played and beat every FF. I know my shyt and XII is the top.

12 had one of the best stories in the series, but I just couldn't get with that mmo-lite battle system.

XII has the game play on lock. :gladbron:

Journeying into a cavern or mine where enemies are 20-40 levels above you to get rare loot and surviving due to a combination of luck and skill. :gladbron:

The monster hunts are the best damn boss fights in the series :lawd:

Every single spell has a use and isn't wasted space like in VII-X :lawd:

That customization allowing you to make whoever the fukk you want from a blank slate :gladbron:

The last FF with a sense of adventure :blessed:

I cannot wait for FFXII HD so we get XII international for that job system.

Making these FFVII weaned babies with their all you have to do is hit attack game play shook. :blessed:

You mean you didn't know it was easily breakable. It's not very complicated to realize that more & stronger magic = stronger character.

Not sure if you're new to Final Fantasy or what breh but every FF since V has exploits up the ass. We are talking about a series where you make the final boss die in a few hits with a glitch exploit in VI and you're bagging on VIII for being breakable? Seems pretty inconsistent and blind to me. FF fans don't care about game play anyways and you cannot in any way try to out argue me that FFVIII being broken is an anomaly in a series that has this in it:

Especially since VI is far easier to break than VIII!

FF has never been about balance nikka. This aint Shin Megami Tensei.

Don't strawman me. I never argued that 8 being broken is an anomaly. Sure, there are ways to exploit things in many games in the FF series, but I was responding to one comment about FFVIII in particular.

And there's a huge difference between one boss fight being incredibly easy because of an oversight or bad design of that enemy, and 75% of a game being incredibly easy because of bad design of the magic or leveling up system. It's not unreasonable for players to complain about bad system design in Final Fantasy games when it's the main driving force for combat.

I never said 6 or any other FF game didn't have their own issues. I was just responding to the claim that people didn't like 8 because it was too confusing; It's not a particularly complicated game -- people complain about the draw system and the effects of junctioning.
