Black Gatsby
Lord$ Never Worry
8 has been my fav so far
XII has the game play on lock.
Journeying into a cavern or mine where enemies are 20-40 levels above you to get rare loot and surviving due to a combination of luck and skill.
The monster hunts are the best damn boss fights in the series
Every single spell has a use and isn't wasted space like in VII-X
That customization allowing you to make whoever the fukk you want from a blank slate
The last FF with a sense of adventure
I cannot wait for FFXII HD so we get XII international for that job system.
Making these FFVII weaned babies with their all you have to do is hit attack game play shook.
i always felt like 10 was what that game 8 should have been. both are heavily character driven stories but 10 is far more focused than 8. don't get me wrong 8 was cool but after the first disc the game is all over the place and never really nails down a focus. it also doesn't help that the plot turns to mush and a weak villain drives it.A$VP Hagler★;3677795 said:8 has been my fav so far
Its nice to see you admit that cuz thats the problem wit you saying fans look at it wit "pure nostalgia". If thats the case you can say that about every single classic created. I guarantee if you would have played it when it first came out your opinion would be different.
Xenosaga is a freakshow. its like Xenogears on steroids. its like the ultimate grab bag of a bunch of people's theories and philosophies mixed up with religious references for the sake of having them. i played through that entire series a few years back and loved it. Episode III is one of my favorite JRPGs ever. Xenosaga has far too many layers to its world, backstory, and plot. its too complex for its own good in part because it mixes up so many things from so many different sources. If you thought FFX's plot was crazy try the Xenosaga trilogy (although I suspect it may be too hard for some of you).
You're a girl though. Of course you'd like it.

here are some charts that attempt to explain Xenosaga's concepts.

those come from the Xenosaga bible if you will.
All this Final Fantasy 7 slander as if one of the most bad-ass villains in video game HISTORY wasn't born in that game..
Where's the love for Mr. One-Winged Angel? The one, the only...SEPHIROTH.
You STAYED walking into places where Sephiroth had just mercked everyone and everything in the vicinity. Dude gave no parts of ANY kinds of fukks about ANYTHING. He was just on some "fukk The World" shyt the entire time.
Hell, his attack at the end involved him destroying fukking PLANETS just to kill you b/c that's just how he does things.

Up there with Robotnik's theme from Sonic 2 as one of the best final boss themes in video game history, in my opinion.
Just a psychotic bad motherfukker with a super-long sword. Pause.
