The plot for Final Fantasy X is crazy

So FF 7 is a convoluted mess but FF 10 is a-okay?

if i wanted to sum up Final Fantasy X's story i could make a half decent attempt at it. i wouldn't really know where to begin to sum up VII's story.

i'll try it right now. Final Fantasy VII: Sephiroth was an experiment alien / human baby created from alien life that crashed on the planet. he found out and went insane and he wants to destroy the world by crashing a meteorite into it so it will attempt to heal itself and then he can capture that energy and use it to surf through the universe destroying other worlds.

Final Fantasy X: two kingdoms were at war and one lost and in order to preserve his kingdom Yu Yevon turned it into a magical summon in which it existed inside Sin a creature designed to keep the outside world at a technological standstill and preserve his immortal kingdom. the people he used to create said kingdom grew tired and wanted to rest in peace so they allowed a resident of the kingdom to escape it and used him to bring an end to the kingdom itself so they could rest.

both are crazy but the plot of X resembles something understandable. even the villain's ambitions in VII are pointless.

I tried to enjoy 8 but that battle system was horrid didnt have the patience for that shyt, 9's battle system was too damn slow too

Can you explain why 8s battle system was so horrid because from what I remember was that literally every character could do anything... cast any spell/summon etc ..... defend/attack with any elemental magic ... you had so much freedom in that system...

I loved it, but a lot of people complained about it because you had to tinker with it a lot. You had to junction different things with different characters to see who made the best use of everything. Some people felt it was too complicated.

X had one of the most touching soundtracks though. I shed a tear every time I listen to the Mt Gagazet theme or The Zanaarkand theme.

playing through ffx as we speak, i never realized how well narrated it was..besides yuna's turrrrble voice actress it is truly a work of art. My first time touching the game since 01-02 and it feels nearly brand new. Battle system is truly the last of its kind. i miss squaresoft

It was one of the first games I played on the PS2 as a youngster. I gotta the overall grasp of it, but im sure the story went over my head , cant wait to play it from a adult POV.

Ten is the second best in the series for me. 6 > 10 > 7.

X is one helluva a game, they never topped it with the following releases.

This game was fukking horrible. I wanted everyone except Auron and Kamir to die. Tidus is the most horrible annoying piece of shyt main character . The fights were trash, plot was trash, etc. Blitzball wasn't too bad but was still garbage because it made no sense. No airship to fly/control... etc.

This guy destroyed this game breh, he did the same to 8 but came to the realization that it wasn't that fukking bad in comparison.

I played it just as much as the main game. It was real fun until the game became unbalanced. I played it so much that my players leveled up faster than the cpu's. So I could take tidus and engage a whole team and sphere shot a goal in.

I always wished they would make it into a minigame you could download off of psn network or something. It's a fun game and it would be cool to play against other people.

Tell me where I'm wrong, I recently tried to replay that bullshyt because I borrowed it from a friend the first time. I saw it in a bin and decided to buy it, my nostalgia for the game had me thinking it was piff but as I played it just became so to the point where I said fukk it and stopped playing that lame shyt. Never had that problem with FF7 no matter what smack you fools say. Tidus is the worst main character they ever had, just a huge whining p*ssy that didn't deserve to be the lead brehs.

8 was the best I've played. I've seen people shyt on Squall and I don't really know why. Dude was one of the more well rounded characters I've ever seen in a game. Sure for like two disc he was some emo silent type but dude went through a bunch of shyt and probably had the most legit romance I've ever seen between two characters in a game.

Kinda sucks that his pops was a faq though hated that Laguna shyt.

Tidus was a 17 teenage BOY... a star blitzball player who was literally ripped from his world to chase after his father whom he hated...wtf did you expect? he matures through out the game. Of course you wouldn't know a thing about character development. How was the any worse than cloud's depressing ass? and you say the battle system was ass? lol. It kills me when dudes who only played ff7 talk shyt about battle systems when ff7 had the most basic of them all.
