It was mid but I liked the ending and the reward for the mid movie is a piff tv show that expands on it..The movie was mid at best. "They think I'm in the shadows, but I AM the shadow *Nirvana starts playing*." I laughed out loud numerous times.
There is only one Batman in a massive city that was fukked with crime BEFORE the flooding, so a Batman that got beat half to death with an Alfred that is laid up in Intensive is probably not going to be hitting the streets like that a WEEK later when The Penguin starts:
Expecting Batman to be in every episode, or in even any of them is very wishful thinking.
Batman better not show his face.. he got outsmarted by a dweebImagine fast forwarding through all the Sophia scenes while hoping to catch a glimpse of a man in a leather suit.
"at least have somebody say his name and act scared. "
Thank you. I got creamed for saying that Batman basically LOST in the The Batman and he ultimately needed time to regroup. It's not a dig at Batman but it speaks to this version of Batman. He's basically a billionaire coli creh. He is not THAT GUY yet.
no regretRaw & Regret.
You talking Joaquin Phoenix's Joker? Nah, he was never going to be The Joker. Dude was about as dangerous as wet napkin. Everyone who thought that was a supervillain origin story was a moron. It was social commentary with Batman accoutrements.Time to regroup? You mean emotionally?
The man is nearly as bulletproof as Superman, what more can he possibly do to be "that guy". Didnt yall learn yalls lesson from the Joker? When yall spent years telling us "Just be patient, hes not the Joker,YET". Unless this is going to be longer than a trilogy,we dont wanna see Batman "figuring it out" for the next decade. He better have it together by the next film.

Yea. Emotionally. Look at Gotham it is in pretty bad shape.
