But does the team have an option after every season or is it just this summer? If so, I could see the Ben Simmons idea being an option like an alcoholic pouring all their booze down the drain to remove the temptation (in NO's case, picking up his option this summer). As of right now, the remaining three years of his deal are non-guaranteed. He can help his cause by getting back out there and playing, but I doubt NO wants that with essentially going into tank mode now.
It's worth the gamble for a team as you can always cut back after the season if it doesn't work. so they shouldn't have an issue moving him. What they get in return is another question.
they keep getting quality hauls AND #1 picks to follow man im not even petty in sports like that but nola can hold that entire curse fr
As of right now, it’s an an option after every season considering he can’t stay on the floor. But does the team have an option after every season or is it just this summer? all that around TWO (2) #1 overall picks? must be nice.I don't believe this report.
"Quality hauls"
For AD
For CP
- Brandon Ingram (blood clots; injury prone; 1 All-Star)
- Lonzo Ball (couldn't shoot and finish at the rim)
- Josh Hart (barely a 6th man)
- Three first-round picks
- One pick swap
Granted, there are no fair trades for franchise talent...c'mon, breh.
- Eric Gordon
- Chris Kaman
- Al-Farouq Aminu
- Draft pick that turned to Austin Rivers
Only we are allowed to shyt on our team
We got two #1 picks in ten years (AD was 2012 and Zion was 2019), it wasn't that crazy given that we were ass after AD left and Boogie got hurt. Same thing when Chris left, but, three times as worst.
