The Pels said his weight isn’t an issue and that he is already lean, so no the people who said it was his weight weren’t correct.
That's not what they said.
David Griffin shootaround sound - Pelicans at Raptors, October 22, 2019 | New Orleans Pelicans

Shams paraphrased what Griffin said in a deceiving manner.

Griffin said that they're "still learning" to understand Zion's body, and that it is not related to a lack of conditioning or being out of shape - he didn't say that it wasn't weight-related.

"He gains muscle mass so fast, and gains weight so fast, no one has ever dealt with anybody like him before. He's only 19, it's going to be a learning experience for all of us. But the notion this happened because Zion is in poor condition is just asinine..."

Just goes to show them college doctors don't give a fukk about them kids...

I remember the spurs doctors were :picard: when they had to do meniscus surgery on Lonnie knee his rookie year and talked about how they had to clean some stuff up from the surgery he had in college...
That's scar tissue

Your spurs told Kawhi his injury was in his head why don't you Christopher Reeves off your high horse

Even if Zion was in great shape, wouldn’t he still be having these same issues just due to how he walks?
He essentially is/was in "great shape", it's the weight (muscle and overall mass) that exacerbates the issues. If he was the same size as Ingram, for instance, he wouldn't have the gait he does, well, certainly not to this degree. He walks like he does because his body is overcompensating.
So “he didn’t say it wasn’t weight related” = absolutely confirms 100% it was weight related. Real 2nd runner up WOAT logic right there:mjlol:

We all know you're a dumbass, but at least read properly:

You're the one who said that the Pelicans said that weight wasn't an issue, when they never said that. They said it wasn't due to "poor conditioning" or that he's fat. I'm only correcting what you said. Don't try to pull this other nonsense.

And you'll always be the true WOAT on this board. You and the rest of the Rockets fans.

This is smart on the Pelicans end. Some injuries are from poor posture and mechanics. Learning how to load your hips gives you greater power without putting alot of strain on your feet, ankles, knees and quads.
