Why are amd Gpu better then nvidia for mining

Apparently AMD GPUs have better OpenCL performance which leads to faster/more efficient mining.

haven't gpu prices shot up dramatically, especially AMD due to bitcoin mining? I think i'll hold off on a new gpu purchase for a while.

Radeon cards are going to be expensive for the next 2 years at the very least.

nvidia just released the GTX 750 (@$119) and 750ti (@$149), which are actually the first Maxwell chips

Was going to pick up a GTX 780 Titan...but got a good deal on two GTX 780...so i pulled the trigger on those

But now I got to upgrade my monitor...cause the card won't really shine until I go above 1080p...

Then I get to looking at the specs and I see it can handle 4k resolution...

4k monitors are way to expensive though

Can't even find any games that people are playing at 4k outside of Crysis...I got a feeling that the video would be choppy as fukk

Still gonna have to drop a G on this 2500 X 1600 monitor though...
