Seems like gpus are more readily available - which is good for me as I am building a new pc with intel alder lake. Trying to snag a 6700xt for around $500.

Copped a 3070TI I caught in stock (for $938 after tax) and selling my 2080TI to recoup most of the cost. Probably not worth the effort; considering canceling the order

Copped the 3070 ti.
It's cheaper now but I've waited long enough especially coming from a 970.

Now I realize it only has one HDMI and the rest are display ports. Then. I'll probably want a 1440p monitor.

You better get a damn 1440p 144hz monitor or else you not taking advantage of its capabilities. That one hdmi is 2.1 which can provide 120hz for 4k monitors or tvs.

You right. I'm still on a 1080p 144hz :snoop:

I'll move that to the 2nd monitor

I picked up a widescreen 144hz for 500 in the UK, its fukkin glorious breh I have RTX 3070. shyt is smooth as hell. Tbh I was almost panic/impulse buying as it was so much information out there and it was pretty daunting. As much as I'm happy with what I have there may be better deals out there for someone who knows what they are doing, and this was a year ago almost.

Definitely recommend a widescreen but depends on what games.. Lots are compatible but not all, I believe
