Most people typically just wan the gpu. Although you could take it apart and sell each part individually. Friend of mine did this with a system he bought only cause it came with a 3080. Sold everything else for around 800 dollars.

Got my wife an HP Omen from bestbuy with a 3080 in it. She’s gonna be helping me out from time to time. Probably start her out with some photo editing and then some light video editing later down the line with me still doing the bulk of the heavy lifting until she gets the experience to rock on her own.

The release date and prices with specs leaked, and they blow away the 30 series, the 4060 will equal the 3070ti at 429 msrp but it has no release date
these cards will release sept 22
The 4080 will have 40 percent performance increase of the 3090 at 899 MSRP
The 4080ti will have 60 percent performance increase over the 3090 at 1300 msrp
and the 4090 will be a beast of a GPU with an 80 percent performance increase over the 3090 at the msrp between 1800-2k
everyone always expects that, but it never really happens. there's generally no reason to buy a (new) last gen card when the new cards drop. and with the way things are now, there probably won't be any 3000 series cards left when the 4000 series releases
All 30 series cards on online retailer stores right now just marked up prices, best buy is only place you can buy the cards at msrp and they are sold out, but I have plenty of AMD cards
the retailers will be forced to lower their prices before the 40 series comes out, all those cards will be sold before the launch
why would they be forced to lower their prices, when they gonna sell out for whatever they charging? it ain't like retailers are sitting on cards now

They not selling out now, the third party retailers have the GPUs in stock they just have them at marked up prices
Best Buy has every AMD GPU as the msrp, unless you got the reference cards you were paying mark up anyway
So nobody's buying these cards the people who already wanted them already brought them, the launch is still far away and the 3090ti is about to be released next month or something, prices already have went down a hundred dollars, so by summer time they should be few hundred more
I done sold multiple 3080s and a 3080ti, and just kept a 3060, to wait for the 4090, that shyt can run cyberpunk in native 4k with raytracing over 60fps that shyt gonna look crazy
Just bought a lian li 011 air mini case, corsair rmx 850w psu, and some 16gb ddr4 ram. My 17 year old niece who I built a pc for last year is taking her computer with her to college after summer. Her younger sister, my 15 year old niece wants a computer too so im making one for her 16th birthday in june.
