Gears 4 got less fps with game mode
Pm meWhat do you guys use to monitor CPU temps? Nothing has been updated for Ryzen just yet and the "Ryzen Master" app seems to be wildly inconsistent.
My temp is at around 60 no matter what I do. Idle, gaming, benchmarks whatever. shyt is annoying![]()
If you are getting a new GPU, you might as well just go ahead and step up to a new platform.I have a AMD A10 7700k and 4 GB of Ram. I want to play Rust and other games on High/Ultra at 1080p would just getting the RX 580 8 GB and more ram allow me to do that or should I upgrade to an i7-2600?
Browns are the nice middle ground. I prefer blues myself over all the others tbh. Yeah it's a little loud, but I work from home 99% of the timeDucky One came today. feels great so far
it has almost no bezel, which is nice coming from the K70. the finish is plastic, but the keyboard seems just about as heavy as the (aluminum) K70. overall it feels very sturdy
Cherry MX browns feel kinda like the reds, but with a slight bump. hopefully it will improve my typing, because I made a lot of mistakes with the reds since I'm kinda sloppy and they're so easy to actuate
double-shot abs keycaps have a nice texture, and almost feel like my pbt caps. they're also smart enough to put the symbols next to the numbers on the number row, instead of above/below them. this is an issue with backlit keyboards. on my pbt keycaps, only the symbols light up on the number row. and pretty much the opposite with the original K70 keycaps. the backlight hits everything on the Ducky though
it has a lot of options for the (blue) backlight. good thing is it's all built into the keyboard, so you don't need to use any software. kinda confusing learning all the keys that control shyt though
pretty happy so far. keyboard feels and looks great
G4560?If you are getting a new GPU, you might as well just go ahead and step up to a new platform.
Hell, start with a G4560 to help you get current with all new features and an upgrade path all the way up to the 7700K.
What price range did you have in mind for it all? I can get you parts at a great price if you are willing to wait a little.
Its a dual core/4 thread CPU. It's a beast for what it is and it benches within 8% of that 2600. You don't want to spend $100 on something that old man. Step up to Kaby Lake or even Ryzen.G4560?isn't that a dual core cpu?
I was planning to spend $500... I was getting the i7 for around $100
Yeah I have a running PC alreadyIts a dual core/4 thread CPU. It's a beast for what it is and it benches within 8% of that 2600. You don't want to spend $100 on something that old man. Step up to Kaby Lake or even Ryzen.
$500 for GPU, CPU, MOBO + RAM? You have PSU, Storage, Case and everything else?
It has a AMD A10 7700k and 4 gb of ram. Should I just keep that current setup and upgrade the ram to 16 GB and cop a RX 580 8 GB. Would that setup allow me to play Rust at Ultra/High at 1080p???Yeah I have a running PC already

You'd be better off gettting a R5 1400 and the cheapest b350 board you can find, even if it's mATX. OC it whenever you need to down the line. Don't go with the G4560 cause not only is it dual core compared to the 1400's 4C/8T, but you're going to be trapping yourself on a nearly cycled through chipset. Intel will be making a successor to the the LGA 1151 sooner than later, but AMD will still be supporting the AM4 platform for at least the next 3 years and you still will be able to use your AM4 motherboard with the Ryzen Gen 2 CPUs due for release next year.It has a AMD A10 7700k and 4 gb of ram. I was looking into grabbing the R5 but there are no mITX boards that would fit in my thermaltake v1You'd be better off gettting a R5 1400 and the cheapest b350 board you can find, even if it's mATX. Yeah, there haven't been too many of them. In fact the first mITX board is only going to be released later this month by Biostar, but it's a higher end X370 part.(Biostar X370GTN is the first Ryzen Mini-ITX motherboard) Maybe you could get around it by selling your current mobo/ram/cpu as a bundle to offset the cost of a new atx case, but I don't know how practical that'd be cause you might still want to keep it around as a second pc/htpc for your uses. A super cheap m/ATX case might be the way to go for now.I was looking into grabbing the R5 but there are no mITX boards that would fit in my thermaltake v1
