Nvidia has pretty much confirmed it to be coming for Kepler.

I think they're saying there's no performance hit to perform the downsampling. so basically going from 4k to 1080p would give you the same performance as native 4k

I guess the only difference from how you can already downsample with nvidia cards is the use of a "gaussian filter"

so i'm confused. You need to sli for this to actually work then right? No way a single 980 is running 4K natively. Or am I looking at this wrong?

it depends on the game. but yeah, they do kind of market the 980 as a single card for 4k. obviously it won't max-out every game at that resolution though

the DSR thing is basically just something for people with ~1080p displays to take advantage of the extra horsepower the card has. similar to what I already do with SGSSAA, OGSSAA, downsampling, etc. I downsample Driver SF from like 8k

They finally have dropped support for a gang of legacy cards with the new drivers. Everything below 400 series isn't being included for now on. This should let them focus more on recent gen cards instead of fixing issues with 8600 GT's and shyt

I have a 3tb hd im using for extra storage, when going to computer managment it says 2040.00gb unallocated and a box that says 746.52 unallocated next to it.

This is my 1st time hooking up the HDD

Im new to this aspect, so bear with me.

Im following directions from the dude on newegg.

My dumbass went and formatted that one sector, so I have 2tb drive working and 746.52gb I cant format but it says device is working properly

It should show up as another drive then E:/ (2 TB) and F:/ (746 GB)

You can reformat since its new and you wont lose anything but some time and fix it or some people actually like multiple volumes

I was hoping, rebooted..and nope...lemme check utility set up..see if it shows up there...

just shows 3000gb hdd in boot sequence
