did Nvidia just skip over the 800 series and go from 700 to 900?

I just seen the last page on here and was reading this shyt like :mindblown: was I in a coma and didnt notice the 800 series ? :wtf:

but had to go back a few pages and seen yall discussing they skipped over the 800 series.. probably because it took so long to come out

3 970s or 2 980s would beat that set up for a fraction of the costs.

I want a 6GB card though

I game at 4k, so VRAM is a pretty big deal for me

Watchdogs got me shook :mjcry:...at 4k it is using pretty much all 3 GB of my GTX 780

Also, even though nvidia has a solid reputation for cards, their first drivers for a new card have always been pretty bad...go back and look at their history for when they drop new cards

I borderline have a 3 driver iterations rule before I will even consider a card...

Really no reason for them to not make a 6GB 780 TI card:mjcry:

That card :wow:

I'd have to cop a new monitor too though :merchant:

Plus a new desk(mine is slightly crowded as it is), a 27-28" monitor wouldn't really fit with how this shyt is designed.

I've had every x80 cards in SLI on release for the last few gens and haven't had any major problems. I know the history well,

watch dogs is the fukking devil :mjcry: :demonic:

Have you tried the newly released drivers, 344.11? People are reporting the game to be smooth now. They also finally fixed Shadowplay with SLI, :ahh:
