Nice. You'll probably run into some problems with next gen ports like watch dogs and shyt, but last gen shyt should be good.
The only issue with it is the onboard speakers are fukkING GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fukking subwoofer on the bottom is likeThat's a very good laptop.
It should run at very high/ultra
to further complicate things, I think it's best to run memtest on one stick at a timeWell, I passed all 8 memtest86+ tests (aka the hour test). Tonight I'll run it all night to be sure, but I'm starting to think it's not ram now
Get an external 5.1 sound card (sound blaster omni 5.1) and some Astro A50s. shyt isThe only issue with it is the onboard speakers are fukkING GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus im still pissed about that. Headphones all the way with this.
Yeah, that's what I read you're supposed to do once you find issues, so you can isolate which stick is good and which one is bad. If I get any errors tonight that's what I'll be doing.to further complicate things, I think it's best to run memtest on one stick at a time
Anti-Virus can be an issue at times, but what game is it again that is locking up?Well, after 12 hours of testing, I didn't get any errors with Memtest86+ and I gamed four hours yesterday during the day too and no crashes.
Now it's just checking the CPU and GPU (which I'm pretty sure is fine). I feel like I'm missing something? Anything else to check?
Also, could the random lock-ups be the result of some sort of program incompatibility? Like my anti-virus is locking my system up during gaming because it is trying to update the software?
It locked up a few times on Watch Dogs and once on BF4. (so it really could be random I guess)Anti-Virus can be an issue at times, but what game is it again that is locking up?
Is it possible that your HDD or SSD is dying?

I don't think my harddrive is dying (it's pretty new), but I guess I could run a test on that too.
Are you running Win 8.1?? There's a bug on there that my cousin's rig have encountered whereby the hard disk is constantly being read/written to. It's evident by the task manager showing 100% usage for the hard drive in the performance tab of the task manager. It may not be that but the symptom you described was similar(Lock ups, slow downs etc.)It locked up a few times on Watch Dogs and once on BF4. (so it really could be random I guess)
