Thank God i don't jump on the enthusiast pc gaming bandwagon anymore, i'm only going to am5 because my am4 motherboard bricked and my ancient ryzen1700 was status. It's still a solid platform and i don't see any reason for someone who already has a high-end pc to go for the new ones.


Maybe at the end of the year i'll get an RTX 4070 and call it a day for the next 5 years

If I build a PC today with a 4090 and latest processor, how much would it cost to upgrade again in, say 5 years? Obviously only upgrading the components I need to.

I miss streaming/video editing/commenting on gaming and this might finally be the year I say fukk it and cop a rig that can handle processor intensive tasks

You'll probably only really need to upgrade the GPU and CPU in 5 years unless they make some insane advancement on other parts

5090 is a day one for me. Probably gonna drive up to my nearest Micro Center on the day of release.

We dont got a Micro Center or Frys in the bay area no more.. how we dont have any dope tech stores in Silicon Valley shyt insane
