Came in yesterday. Initial impressions: hype is justfied. Sound is fantastic. shyt is heavy tho. The stock leather head strap is ass. Im bald so im glad i got the wicked cushions silicone strap. Switched out the earpads with Defean silk fabric earpads with cooling gel and comfort is stock earpads are fine. I just hate leather on my skin. shyt gets hot quick.

RPCS3 is looking good as hell I remember when the idea of running PS3 in an emulator would have been impossible.



And Gran Turismo looks incredible

I was gonna cop the MGS collection but the PC version didn't review well. I might just replay MGS2-4 using emulators.

Side note: Had to literally stop myself from driving down to Microcenter to buy an H9 Flow. My cinebench temps are high, so I've been researching cases and undervolting. Finally settled on the H9 but talked myself out of it. $180 to save maybe 5c-10c. Damn youtubers are like fukking hypnotists

I honestly don't feel I need a better screen to be honest, even though this is a 2560x1080p ultrawide monitor at 75hz, with the nvidia dsr feature it still looks fantastic to me

at 1080 that 4090 is half-sleep - resolution that low the CPU doing 90% of the lifting for most stuff you'd play. shyt. at 1080p a 4090 probably capable of pushing 300~ FPS. Putting the ceiling on it at 75 is really only a move if you are all about lower power consumption.

You have the hardware in the case to take you around the world.
You are using it paired with a monitor that takes you to the mailbox and back.
