Thats fine. Can u tell me which specific Asrock motherboard you decided on? I am very leary on Asrock when it comes to their cheaper boards.

I actually got a TUF 301 for 60 on newegg so I'm returning the H17 Versa

Is this overkill for these parts?

Just double check it's seated properly on the fan header.
