I appreciate any and all help. With all my gratitude. But I must request that before you answer with something like a .net framework reinstall, remember that I’ve been fighting this problem every day for over a month. I’ve .net reinstall repair uninstalled myself to f*cking death. I’ve done everything on google. Anything simple you find online, I have done. It is frustrating to have the same suggestions that you’ve tried a million times suggested for a million and one times. With all due respect please only answer if you KNOW the answer, be it from your computer literacy/IQ or from having resolved the same error in the past.

Yeah, after my little rage I realized it was time to just throw in the towel. Hoping this will resolve any virus issues I might have as well.

Still going to do a virus scan anyway though.

Yes, I realize I should’ve done that before beginning the reset :comeon:

New pc been giving me hell for 2 weeks.

5600x
EVGA 3080 black
32 gigs of 3600 corsair vengeance pro
980 pro m.2, 1 tb ssd, and a 500 gb ssd all samsung
B550 Auros master
Custom loop using corsair hydro x and a gpu block from EK
10 QL120 fans
1000 watt psu gold rated from EVGA

First thing I did was update the bios before installing windows
Booted up, usb ports kept disconnecting. Looked it up, saw this was a thing. They claim the bios update was supposed to fix it. Well it didn't for me. I had installed all updates and the chipset. Still had no luck. Finally switched ports. Haven't had the issue since, knock on wood. But it's making me think windows didn't install correctly cuz I've been getting bsod'ed all week with the video scheduler message. I updated the gpu drivers and firmware. Sfc/scannow in the command prompt. Checked windows memory diagnostic. The whole nine. Games also crash. Like consistently. And at the start of some games, the screen goes black. Mainly assassins creed origins. Valhalla won't even play. This bytch giving me fits brehs :mjcry:
Sounds like an issue with your motherboard. Did you build it yourself?

Yep and the motherboard is brand new

Noticed something else last night. Did a fresh install of windows. Clean install of video drivers. Still got the bsod video scheduler message. I thought that it might be the riser cable so I set the gpu slot to gen 3 and ran heaven benchmark. During the benchmark, it stuttered, and the rgb on my fans froze. Did this for about 10 seconds, then proceeded as normal. I loaded up civ 6, didn't have any issues. I think this weekend, I may drain the loop and install the card with no riser. Sucks cuz it'll def look worse in this big ass case :francis:

For my younger sibling, Minecraft cod, Fortnite, etc . Good to know that monitor should do, I thought I had to do a deep deep dive like picking a PC

Intel been fighting a losing fight on the cpu front. I wonder how much of a shake up they will introduce to the GPU market.

I thinking I'm just a bout the just get a pre built 3090 and sell my 3080, just to get a better cpu, my i7 held it down for 4 years, but it's time to upgrade and I don't feel like waiting

I need help, what's the best 1440p, 144hz(or better) monitor for competitive gaming? COD, APEX, Battlefield and Fifa.
I had my eyes on a LG 32GP850-B 32” Ultragear QHD but some dude told me It's just average.
Also, is 32'' too big? Would I be better suited with a 27''?
